Very pleased with this product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My comcast modem provides a very limited range. So I purchased a Belkin range extender that was suggested by the Best Buy sales person. I had to return it because it was slow and didn't work as advertised. Not even the Belkin technical support rep could help me. I just finished my basement and have a smart tv down there. But I get a very weak signal. I took a chance and bought the Netgear AC750. It was extremely easy to set up. I plugged it in downstairs and like magic, I have a full signal. Speed tests say that I get 25Mbps and now the TV handles Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, and Vudu with no trouble whatsoever. I am extremely pleased with this product. It is easy to set up and it provides a signal almost as good as if I was standing next to the modem itself.

Exactly how I wanted it to work!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works perfectly and exactly how I needed it to work. The router is on the 1st floor of the house and I spend a good amount of time in our basement where the signal is pretty weak. I plugged this WiFi-extender at the bottom of the stairs in the basement and now I am able to use the WiFi without any issues. Setup was relatively easy as well. The only thing that you need to realize about the product is it creates a new WiFi network that you have to connect to. If you're closer to the actual router, you may have to manually switch to the original Wi-Fi network signal if one signal is stronger than the other. Highly recommend

This is a Totally Objective Review...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to get a new WiFi extender because whenever I streamed TV shows and movies (previously purchased an Amped|Wireless extender for the internet box connected to my living room TV), the buffering would 5 hours to watch a 1 hour movie! I couldn't decide between this extender (NetGear) or the TP-Link Wi-Fi Range Extender with AC Passthrough so I bought them both. The speeds I got are listed below: NETGEAR vAC750: 26 Mbps DL; 11.06 Mbps UL (lowest speed recorded) TP-LINK pass-Thru: 12 Mbps DL; 11.26 Mbps UL (highest speed recorded) Needless to say, I took the Tp-Link Extender back and stuck with this one.

Great Performance in a neat little package!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was a bit spotty. I did everything they said but would not work. In order to get assistance on the phone I had to register the product. Once I registered the product with Netgear, I was able to speak to a tech rep and was talked through the process of resetting the booster through their website. As I said, it could have been a bit less stressful, but once it was properly setup, the booster works flawlessly. Small price to pay for a strong signal, so I decided to give the booster 5 stars. Technically, I would give it 4.9 stars, (for the stress and aggravation), but that wasn't an option.

Excellent Wifi Extender!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this for a customer at their location today. It wasn’t too difficult to install when following the clearly written instructions and definitely works better than expected. They were having trouble getting wifi in the area that was the most distance from their wifi router. After installing this wifi extender, they are happy to have great wifi in all parts of their building. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to extend their wifi!!!

Nice range extender
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after upgrading my computer. I decided I was going to upgrade the range extender along with the router. I figured buying all Netgear would allow for seamless and quick installation! I was right. I read through the instructions and connected everything and after some small hiccups (my fault) the unit was picked up by the router and has worked great ever since! IM glad I bought the unit! Sits quietly and has great signal strength!

Works as designed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a rather large house and my wifi signal isn't the greatest in the one corner of the house. I decided to try this before upgrading my whole system. It definitely works as they say it does. One tip is that the extender has to be in an area that has strong signal. It can't be in the room that you'll be needing the signal. It says that in the directions but I didn't read them all at first. Once I relocated it everything was fine.

Net gear wifi extender
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchsed two of these Netgear AC750 Extenders as I needed to help my son's desk top in his second floor bedroom and incease wifi on the first floor. First my sons PC had a Belkin thumb drive for wifi. He got 4/2 speed. He was Always complaining how slow his internet was.. This netgear was very fast set up. I connected an ethernet cord from the extender to his PC. We got 52/30. Next the first floor on my Ipad i got 17.5/9.6 speeds. After plugging in the netgear I got 38/23. Quite impressive. Understand this is not plug and play. You must set this up by plugging into an outlet in the room where your router is and begin the simple set up. Once the 3 green lites are on, unplug and move to your desired location. I can say enough good thins about this device.

Magic!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really, it's magic! Stronger signals all around the house. Took my signal strength on an upstairs Tivo box from 23% to 72%, took the Roku from Good to Excellent. Amped up the signal in the basement, too. Apple AirPort is fussy about direction; I've read it spreads its signal in a very flat, plane-like distribution pattern. AC750 really hit the spot! Setup with a Mac and AirPort utility (which you have if you have an AirPort; it's the dropdown menu at the top of your screen where you select your network) took under 10 minutes and was easy as pie. (But not as delicious). Uses the same password as your original router, which is also nice. Using both 2gHz and 5gHz. I was skeptical and expected to put it right back in the box to return. Nope, I'm loving it!

Easy set-up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This extender works great in our house where the signal had trouble getting through the brick and concrete wall that use to be the outside of the house and is now an internal wall. We had no trouble getting this up and running in a fairly brief time.

Good wifi extender
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was very easy to use and set up. Just plug it in and locate the signal. Works well in holder homes where the router is on a different floor and the signal is obstructed by the masonry of the house. It even maintained and reset itself after a long power outage. I am very happy with this product.

Exactly what I wanted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tiny little extender is doing great job covering my whole apartment. Verizon router wasn't strong enough to reach my bedrooms from my den, so I got 2 of this extender and now 3 of my bed rooms are covered and I even get wifi at my patio :) Before this my signal was very weak and would drop every now and then. Not to mention that it has a speed drop of about 40% comparing to the parent router, but I guess thats nothing unexpected. I checked with speedtest app and when connected to the main router, I get 10mbps and when connected via these extenders I get about 5~6mbps. Significant drop but still good enough for video streaming, so I am happy.

Works - sort of.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased because signal in a couple rooms fades in and out. Setup was pretty straight forward but once initial setup was done wireless devices would not authenticate when set to extender mode. I use WPA2 and MAC filtering. Setting it up as a wireless access point it works flawlessly. I would recommend with a strong caveat that if you're security conscious you will probably have to connect to your network with an ethernet cable and use it as an access point.

Great Product - Not So Great Instructions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched wifi extenders before making my purchase. I was prepared to be tested when connecting this to my network. One thing of importance that the instructions don't make clear - once you plug in and press the power button, you have to be patient and wait for the light to turn green. I also found that manually connecting it was way less frustrating than trying to use the button on the extender. Once it was connected, it improved my wifi strength - went from fair to excellent. Hopefully this is the solution I have been searching for.

Works great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought his Netgear wireless extender to improve signal strength on the first floor and outside porch of my home. By the way, I have Verizon FIOS Wireless Internet service. Initially, I couldn't get the extender to connect. I repeated all directions several times and even did a factory reset twice and still no success. Finally, I went onto "MYVERIZON" a website for help with all things Verizon. I discovered that there was a software upgrade for my router. After performing this five minute upgrade, the Netgear Extender immediately connected and now works great. I also have a Grace Internet Radio that would frequently lose its signal and "buffer". The problem was so bad that I almost stopped using the radio. But since i bought the extender, it hasn't hasnt buffered once and is used all day long. I am now in my second month of success with this producr. I could not be more pleased with his purchase..

Easy Set Up, Works Well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After doing some research on the web for an extender to get WiFi to reach into a couple of rooms on the far end of the house, this AC750 unit offered good value. Many reviews pointed to strong capabilities. Once home it took all of about 5 minutes to set up. Instructions are very simple - well, the process is very simple. The hardest part was locating the WAP button on my Netgear N600 router (it's the big blue domed button) for the pairing procedure. It is working as intended providing a very strong signal. We are home users with modest demands - occasional streaming of audio or shows on Hulu or Netflix.
