Need an extender to amplifier the signal so it could reach other areas around the house and this product has work very well since I purchased it.

bought this to improve reception in a ‘troubled’ area of the house. I was concerned about connecting the device to my cable modem as I’ve heard horror stories about doing so. The saleslady mentioned that she had just purchased one and installed it in just a few minutes. I’m guessing she was telling the truth as I purchased it and using WPS connection, it was up and operational in minutes. I then moved it close to the problematic area and WIFI reception improved dramatically. I am very happy with the product, its set-up, and performance

Purchased today and installed. Very easy setup. The signal strength is fantastic and even the connection speed (using online speed tester) is great. Would recommended to anyone with a home with multiple floors.

Just recently bought a Nest security camera and kept getting a message "poor wifi signal". Did some research and found this. I normally buy the best, most expensive item out there even if I don't use all the features. This time I pulled back and bought just the right device for the job. The Netgear AC750 extended the wifi to the driveway of my home. I plugged the unit into the garage outlet. One thing to note is that this unit creates two new extensions (dual-band). It still keeps your same wifi password. I have not had the issue with the camera since I plugged this in. I would recommend this.

Surprised how easy this was to set up! Purchased it for my Airbnb a few months back and still going strong.

Works as explained. Expanded my house and the wifi didn't reach upstairs. Got this product and now have big speed internet to the entire upstairs. Works great.

We use this device to extend our Network. We live in a two-story house where the back half of the house is exposed to the but the front lower half of the house is underground. We use this device to extend our home network. It offered good signal and reliable service throughout the house even in the rooms furthest from the original router.

this unit is very good and easy to setup, I got 3 of these to setup at different locations and the range is extremely good. no complains at all.

About a year ago, I originally installed this extender using a Cisco router. And it was easy to install using the WPS feature. I recently switched to a Comcast modem/router and it was impossible to connect it to the Netgear extender using any method. Neither Comcast personnel nor I could do it after carefully following the Netgear printed instructions and their on-line instructions.. The website that Netgear provided for customer support was no longer functional. I have never experienced such poor installation instructions. My strong advice is not to buy any Netgear extenders if you think you may be changing to a different router in the future.

Wanted to extend my WIFI into the backyard for a number of bluetooth applications. The current router provided intermittant service at 100 feet of range so I installed this unit to cut the distance to 50 or 60 feet. This unit seems to have helped resolve the service shortfalls.

Simple to set up, works great! I get really good speeds in the part of my house that had poor Wi-Fi reception.

When at Best Buy I looked up the reviews for Wi-Fi extenders and noticed most of them were rated between 4.2 and 4.6 with prices ranging from $30 to over $300. I noticed that all had one star ratings that complained about the extenders dropping out periodically so I went for the Netgear AC750 unit which was priced in the middle of the group. Setup was easy and the indicator lights showing if the extender's communication status with the primary Wi-Fi base unit and at least one device that is connected via the extender was very helpful in positioning the extender. However we had 5 of us in the house using many different wireless devices. Everyone found when connected to the AC750, there would be period of times that streaming video would stall or the picture would be very pixelated. We tried the unit for 2 weeks and were very disappointed with it and returned it. I purchased the MSRM 750 online for half the price and it works flawlessly.

This extender does not work with ATT Uverse modems..It works fine with Spectrum and was easy to set up with Spectrum. I would not recommend for ATT users.

IT helps boost your wifi signal. Just like most wifi, it does not send signals through double concrete walls so if your home structural is thick, problem may still exist.

Decent extender that did give a wider range of connection but not as I expected or advertised.

I felt I had to get a extender because my Nighthawk only goes about 400 feet in my house. The extender allows me to pick up wifi in the back half of my house and even outside most of the time.
