I installed the extender to add WiFi coverage to my back patio. It functions ok and is easy to setup. However, after a few days of operation it seemed to lock up and completely block all WiFi traffic in the house. Had to reboot the device to return to normal functionality, but the problem seems to be reoccurring. Must be a bug.

Had a dead spot in my upstairs computer room. Bought a new 4K TV and basically Netflix was unusable as my wireless router downstairs provided too low of a signal. Plug the extender in the outlet and then made sure the computer and TV was using the extender signal and, voila, a much faster speed.

This has effectively increased the coverage to my bedroom whereas the direct router is placed in living room. The setup was a breeze with the Netgear app downloaded from app store.

This product was easy to use. The installation is quick and you should have no problem setting it up.

I recently purchased a new gateway to rid myself of renting one from Comcast for $10/month. Unfortunately the new gateway did not do as good of a job at providing WIFI to some areas of my house. However, installing the Netgear WIFI extender took care of this issue and now I have great coverage.

The range extender did help a alot however it took my wife 2 days to get it working properly and to me it still is not set up correctly.

While it has improved the reception from our wireless security cameras, they still drop out periodically. We had really hoped that it would stop this problem.

Awesome unit. Huge jump on my download speed and upload. Ethernet adapter is a plus. Great wifi range. Very easy set up.

A little set-up but working well. I needed a chorded port in another room and didn't want to run cables through my house/drywall. Powerline adapters weren't an option because of the way my electricity is set up. Don't see hardly any signal strength degradation at ~30ft away. Would recommend.

Needed more wifi coverage for my house and it does just that. Easy set up.

We have an older home, lots of plaster walls, so even our great router can't send enough signal to give us decent wifi in half our home. So, we added two of these. It really makes a difference - put one downstairs and one upstairs. We tried using it as a WAP but having to use a different wifi channel is annoying, so I tried it just as a range extender and that gives us great signal in the previously unreached areas. Took the signal from about -75dBm (nearly useless) to -35 to -40dBm (great). It also made it possible for us to have a smart doorbell. So happy we got this!

Our wireless would always drop upstairs and could not get any coverage in one of the rooms in our house. This extender solved both of those issues and was easy to install.

Easy to set up, and works great in my 100yo house!

Better than expected. Will use for a very long time.
