Since purchasing we haven't had any issues with "lost internet". Unfortunately, since Time Warner turned to Spectrum the service in our ranch house was hit and miss.....this has been great!

Checked with it friends and they recommended. A little difficult to set up. Had to ask an it friend to help. Directions not wonderful for unique situations.

We had to get something to help our internet wifi reach a room far away from router. We has several walls in between router and computer so wifi wouldnt reach. This helped make it possible.

Using this unit and another unit to patch spots over 10000 sgft including 5000 sgft patio. Actually could use one more, maybe two but waiting for the Netgear Wifi 6 Mesh update. The advice I would give if you have the luxury is to use it as an access point! It just about becomes another router wherever you put it. The extender cability is not as efficient. I wired my home with 24 ethernet ports and was able to simply plug it in in every room I'm using it. It's a daisy chained arrangement and that really works well. A couple more would be even better and complete but Wifi 6 coming makes it redundant price wise as it's right around the corner. If you're not going mesh and can daisy chain it it is well worth it. As an extender it is not as powerful. In a smaller home it probably would work ok. It is definitely worth using as an AP!

Wi-Fi extender did work as advertised but didn’t work for me in my patio home garage.

As long as you have a proper signal to start with. I have Verizon in the 23462 market and it's horrible so this does as much as it can with what it has to start with. I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Worked really well, set 2 of them up in different areas of the house, now we do not have wifi issues.

I had a little bit of an issue with set, but once I got that corrected the device works really good.

We needed to extend our wifi signal and this was the least expensive route. Our router is close to our TV but we had low signal in our computer room. So far the signal has been boosted and working from home has been easier. the booster connected easily into our home network.

Replaced existing Netgear extender with this model. Set up was easy and the performance is much better than the prior model.

Easy to set up, and it did extend the signal, but the speeds were really low, might be our router was old. Ended up returning it and got a mesh router instead.

I needed this extender to actually provide ethernet connection to a LogiTech SqueezeBox radio whose Wifi card went bad. This device picks up WiFi from my router and then I use the Ethernet connection for the Squeezebox. It works perfectly and is allowing me to extend the life of a product that I use regularly. Very easy to setup with my Netgear Orbi router.

Reach out and grab the signal! Excellent way to extend the signal throughout the whole house. Software is ok, not quite as intuitive as I'd like, but not that hard to figure out. It simply made the difference between dropping and not dropping the signal, and was good for data and online viewing (youtube, etc). I didn't try this for gaming or for movie streaming.

We had to purchase this since we have a multi level home and the Wi-Fi could not reach to the top floor. Since installing it we no longer have any problems with our Wi-Fi connections on any level of our home.
