Great product, saves time and money being wireless

I like this product it worked as it said . The only thing I have trouble with is how long it takes to turn on one it senses motion.

I wish I would have bought the higher end Pro version. has better batteries and more options on record time.

This is a great system if you just want to keep an eye on things. You pay extra for continuous recording.

tried for 2 hours, home wifi was working solid however cameras would not link to the base station so I returned the purchase. Forums indicate this is buggy. Also, the cameras have batteries that need to be recharged periodically.

Good advertising so I purchased this system...has gd usage software but that's it..does not perform..misses recording activities. .battery usage high..goes off line frequently ..no live help when there is a problem

Since purchasing these cameras, they have consistently failed to work. When you purchase security cameras, the one thing you need them to do is stay online reliably. One by one, they have ceased to work and with a only one year warranty, they fast become paper weights. Further, the base station goes offline weekly resulting in the need to reset the system and replace all of the batteries in the camera that drain searching for the base station. The customer support is terrible and they do not back their inferior product. Don't waste your money.

I have gone through 3 sets of cameras as they keep failing. One just stopped working and the other two turned purple and blue picture. Netgear RMA system is an absolute joke. Good luck trying to find the contact us for returns on their website. This product is WAY overpriced for the quality of the product. I wish I would have saved myself the money and just bought a wired system. The batteries last 2 months... This is just way to costly.

System seems great in theory with no wires to hookup, unfortunately I could not get a good enough wifi signal outside of my house for it to work, returned item.

Keep Dropping Signals. Sometimes had to deal with connections issues. I have X8 NightHawk router and still was dealing with connection issues.

I called Best Buy and was told oh we have this new thing I will send a guy out to help you resolve the issue. The guy was great, but he was a salesman and could not touch my stuff and didn't know no more than I knew. I lost time at work, it was a disaster, I've spent probably about 1200.00 on the two package I bought and they don't work and lost 500.00 mission work. So no I'm not happy

Love the fact that they are wireless but the tend to lag a lot.

poorly designed. with their tech support and the network engineer from Verizon product engineer unable to connect cameras to wish. design of outdoor mounting smart if you are not mounting to an indoor window sill

I was missing a camera and they didn't wanna send it to me

I bought the 6 Camera system at Best Buy! You can set up each camera individually to your needs. I have my 2 outside cameras set to motion detection and recording (you can even adjust the amount of time to record). The other 4 cameras I set up inside and they are not set for motion or recording - (although you can pick any one of them or all of them to do that) just monitoring - so I can check up on my dogs. Every time your motion detector goes off and your camera or cameras record, you will receive an alert via text message or email or both! You then have the option to review each video and save (and download to your computer to get it off your storage) or delete any or all of them! That way you never reach the free 1GB storage! This system is super easy and works efficiently for basic security or monitoring (my pets) needs. I have a 4500 sq. ft. home and my two outside cameras are mounted on each side of my garage to look down my driveway and towards the front entrance of the house; our base is at the other end of our house (inside); and both outdoor cameras work perfectly! We even tested one of them at the opposite end of our backyard from our shed and pointed it toward the back of the house entrance and it worked without a glitch. As far as batteries, each camera takes 2 lithium CR17345 batteries. I have had my system for about two weeks and have a full charge on all of my cameras - even the ones outside! You can easily check your battery life on each camera from your Arlo app. and batteries are super easy to change! If you are at all hesitant - this system is worth every penny for your peace of mind and its super easy! Also, if you get it home and find that it really doesn't fit your needs - you can return it to Best Buy!

Arlo is a great easy to use video monitoring system. Set up was quick and easy and video quality is great. App with phone and alerts are very good. Battery life on remote cameras is very good. All around a great value and great system. Highly recommend it.
