Super easy set up. Batteries have lasted great. We really like the ability to arm and disarm from our phones if we are going to be out longer than expected.

Very easy to setup. Cameras see everything and are easy to install. I had a beak in and purchased this system and have literally sold three other friends on it. I have nothing negative to say!

Worst Experience With Arlo

Looking at all the good review about it, I was drawn to it. Looked promising but BAD experience. The first one I purchased, one of the camera wasn't working properly. After connecting it to the device it worked just fine for couple hour. Later it won't connect to the device at all... more ever the battery on that camera drained in 5 hours. So, I did an exchange thinking maybe it was just an technical issue that one of the camera didn't work. WELL... guess what... This time The base stopped working after 6 hours... First it was all fine, then it stopped connecting to my wifi. I had 3 separate Ethernet cable including the one that comes with... none could connect the base to my wifi. So as it instructed, I rebooted the devices -- it worked, but this time it won't sync/connect to the app. Spent almost half a day trying to figure out whats going on with it. Sadly, both me and my tech savvy husband failed big time. Returning my device. Going to try out something else.

The video resolution is good enough. One con is the batteries are not cheap.

Writing after the 100th time I was unable to view the camera because it "is unable to connect." If I unplug it, and plug it back in, it will connect just fine.
I have a Macbook air, a couple of iPhones, and an iPad mini. The iPad mini is ancient, but actually works better than the Macbook air, which will kick back out to the login screen after :30. The iPhones will stay powered on, and will be able to use the Q as a baby monitor for an hour or two, sometimes more, occasionally even the whole night, but it's rare. We're constantly reconnecting. I'm using the Pace wi-fi router provided by AT&T, with a brand new Cisco switch.

After 21 months my Arlo base station failed. After 2 weeks of customer service making me jump through hoops trying different things, no assistance on a replacement base station. Warranty is only good for 12 months. Can't even buy a new base station from them without also buying cameras. Find another system with a better warranty!

Ran into several problems but if you need support you have to search "community" to find someone who has a similar problem, at which time you get other users providing you with suggestions. Could not find a customer support number. Installation is simple until you run into problems, then you are kind of at a dead end.
