You can't ask for better camera system I love the way I can check it from my phone or my iPad

The camera uses batteries, which were advertised as having 4-6 months of battery life, when you read the setup material or contact Netgear support, then you find out that it is 4-6 months with average battery use; average battery use is considered about 5 minutes a day, so if you keep the camera on all day that will last for a week or less. Unfortunately I found this out after the allowed return time for Best Buy, or I would have returned them.

Love this easy to use system and was priced ok for what it does.

We have seven and seems like we are always changing the batteries. We have used the regular and rechargeable batteries. We like the features but wish that it had a longer battery life.

I wanted a camera system, but didn't want to pay for a service each month. These work great for what I needed. I love how you can go back and look at your logs to see what events triggered your cameras with no extra fees. It takes a bit longer to connect once I receive a notification that a camera has detected motion, but it may possibly be my ISP, which I am looking into.

I really wanting to like the Arlo system but the compression rate is so high and you are unable to adjust, that the image quality is poor and not even close to HD, regardless of what is claimed. I needed a camera which could actually be clear enough to see the person in the video. If all you need is to know that a person entered the cameras view and be alerted this might be the system for you but if you need to see any details or be able to make out a persons face in the video, this is not the right system. The Arlo Pro 2 might be that system but I haven’t tried it yet.

Good product at a fair price. Covers the area needed. iPhone and iPad usage works perfectly.

Easy to use when it works properly. After a few years it decided not to connect, rebooting fixed it temporarily but now it’s not connecting again...ugg.

My biggest complaint is how often batteries have to be changed out. Would prefer if it plugged in as batteries cost btwn 20.00-25.00 each time I have to buy them.

easy wi-fi set-up, small and perfectly convenient for mounting inside or out! do find that there is sometimes too much lag time between capturing video but overall am satisfied and feeling so much more secure!

This is a great camera system. I can see my house from my phone and it is clear as day!

I purchased this, because of the wireless benefit. What a mistake. Everything worked well for the first 2 weeks, then the batteries drained every two days. its only set to record at night. The batteries are not cheap. I was told numerous times by the sales associate that I would only have to replace the batteries once every 4-6 months. I contacted Arlo and they keep insisting that i need to re-position my camera so that its on an angle, that i cant have it facing directly to the area i want. what good is it then. they are going to send me a new set of batteries. I am sure they will drain quickly again. I will call back and complain again. I cant return to the store because its past the two weeks. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I wasted alot of money on this.

The cameras work very nice. It records everytime when there’s movement.

Great setup for someone looking for a begginer security camera but beware of the delay and that it only start/ record when movement is detected. I prefer Nest.
