The quality was good, set up was fair, but app is slow but no slower than the competitor the tech just isn't where I want it to be yet. They do offer cloud going back a week for free. This is the best I've found so far. The cost of each one is a bit much. There is a usb port on the router that has no purpose yet were we able to stream to our own hard drive I would have given it four stars. Nice if you want to see almost everything, only God see's all. The motion detection app and text worked will.

I purchased this camera because it was one of the very few on the market that was actually wireless. Overall its not a bad camera but it has very bad lag. Sometimes i can completely walk by it and it wont start recording until i already passed it. There is about a 4 to 5 second delay on the live feed as well. The camera also doesnt capture all motions. There were time where a bug would fly past it and it will record other times ive had someone pull in my driveway and it didnt record a thing... hopefully the pro version runs a little bit smoother.

Good price on a good system. Installed myself in 20 minutes. Excellent picture quality in light or dark situations. Love the fact it notifies me when recording.

I read all the reviews and spoke to the local stores in house staff before purchasing this product with reasonable expectations it would serve my need. I was getting ready to travel out of town and wanted something to give me peace of mind for my home in addition to having a couple to 18 year olds at home. The system was easy enough to set up. Had to connect a new included router into my wifi system and then sync each camera with the new router. All went well and everything connected. I had two cameras installed in a transom glass over the front door to watch the porch and the hallway both of which were looking through glass to watch their respective areas. The third camera I installed outside the back door to watch a sidewalk and driveway. It was about 50' from the base station and had some trouble picking up the signal initially but eventually picked it up and transmitted well. I got the remote app setup along with setting the system to alert me when motion was detected. The picture quality when viewing through the app was pretty good with surprisingly clear picture with good definition. We traveled out of town the next day and all seemed well during the day when there was plenty of light. However when it got dark none of the camera's worked very well. The one on the exterior watching the driveway worked the best for picture quality. The two looking through the glass were worthless as the reflection of the glass totally messed up the picture. Then while out of town the camera located outside just dropped off line. When I returned home I checked it and changed the batteries along with rebooting the wifi system and it never would reconnect. After re-evaluating everything and considering the battery life and how the system indicated it was using the batteries, along with the basically nonfunctional camera I decided to return the entire system. I am looking into a hard wired system as I don't believe the wifi systems are quite ready for the market yet.

I bought these to watch over my house. They are totally wireless and easy to install. The only problem is the time it takes to record after it detects motion. Most of the time it starts recording it won't catch anything or you get the tale end of it. That's why I'm only giving it three stars. They are a bit pricy too.

This product has been great! Easy to use and easy to setup. With this being 100% Wireless, get ready to spend some $$ on batteries. Battery life tends to go faster on my cameras located farther from the base unit, but I also think those cameras also see the most action. Both are factors of battery life... For a widespread area, I recommend getting more than 1 base unit to help accommodate. I got this system because I didn't want to wire a rental house, I will implement this when I move and probably add to my system over time.

This set of cameras are perfect The reason why these cameras are so perfect is because the quality that they give is the best out there and they could see far, and you can have them for away from the base almost 300 feet so you could put them almost anywhere around your Property

The set up was a easy as expected. If setting up outside I highly recommend purchasing the outdoor brackets and not going with the magnets. Resolution could be better, motion sensor is meh and has issues in inclement weather. App works well enough, batteries drain quicker than expected. If you have any issues withe the cameras you need to remove from mounts and reset with reliever, in my case it was quite a pain inthe behind because camera's were mounted outside a required a ladder to access. Night vision could be better as well.

These cameras are completely wireless and work great both inside and out. Mounting them is trivially easy. The software is quite good, giving you the ability to set a schedule for automatically turning various cameras on and off. Cameras have motion detection and automatically go from day to night mode and increase gain as light levels fall. You can also set cameras on and off based on modes you set up. Overall a great product at a reasonable price.

Great system, easy to use, but a little challenging to set up if you are not monitoring wide open spaces. I will eventually purchase additional cameras for this system, so all sides of my property can be monitored. The biggest thing I am concerned about is the cost to replace batteries and the fact that the cameras are not rated for very cold weather (<14 degrees F).

I LOVE the fact that the cameras are truly wireless. However, there are certain applications for which it would be nice to have the option to use an electrical adapter to avoid using so many expensive lithium batteries. I hope improved motion sensitivity will come in time through a firmware update.

These are good cameras for the price and the wireless ability. The drawback is that the motion detection is a little slow. So when someone walks by the camera, it only starts recording after they have walked halfway through the field of view. From what I have seen, the PRO cameras start recording much earlier. The cameras are also slow to pick up someone walking directly toward the camera - they are much better at picking up left to right movement. The truly wireless option was the greatest benefit for me. We rent, so running wires for a true security camera was not possible. This gives us an option, we just didnt have before.

Good camera and easy installation but it has a 4-5 second delay. Someone could walk right by it and not be seen because of the delay. I got it on sale but would have spent more on a better one that also includes a mic.

This is a good product if you are looking for something simple to help watch a location. Easy to set up and use. Does have a little time lag from when when movement should be picked up by the camera to the time it starts recording.

Arlo is great to see what's going on around the house when you are gone. Packages arriving at your door, people coming onto property, love the arlo. Downside is batteries don't last long but can get rechargeable.
