I was in a rush and actually didn't understand when I bought this product that it was not the latest generation. That's a little problem since I was really after the next gen features like HD, audio, etc. I'll have to upgrade sometime and that means that I have to eat this base station cost since I'll have to get a new one if I upgrade, but I can keep using these cameras with a next gen system and adding new cameras. Glad to have tried this system since I find it works quite well (given that it is like a WiFi overlay that you can't control). Has some range limitations but the motion activation is really good and this product was my first try, and I find it made things easy. A little too expensive, but like Apple they make it work well as a system. I will consider expanding or upgrading the system.

This is a good product. This is battery operated though. So, if you have a lot of movement, then you might want to buy the Arlo with a charger. Other than this, it is really good.

Very easy to set up, very clear picture. I wish the download option would capture the date and time stamp of the video.

Very easy to install and set up. After trying two other brands this one worked well. I may possibly add another later. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the motion detection range outdoors is a lite shorter than I like. Inside it would be fine.

Set up is easy. These cameras pick up allot of motion from heat exchanges as it uses ir for motion detection but miss actual motion events. I have 2 different camara systems. I will get a motion on arlo and the video shows nothing. I will go to my old cameras and see that a dog walked slowly across the yard. The arlo cloud has gone down a few times and now my cameras are not sending motion alerts. Very buggy. Motion zones would be a huge plus on these. Live streaming is very slow to connect if they connect at all. Hopefully the product will get better in the future.

This was so easy to install. The picture quality is terrific as well. I love the ease of putting these wherever I want.

Picture is very crisp. So far very happy with it. The only negative is the battery consumption, you will need a few!

I originally purchased one camera and base station and a second camera to trial the system. I was quite impressed with the results. So impressed that I immediately purchased a third camera and will purchase a fourth once the new mounting bracket becomes available in late July. The system works as advertised and is a great compliment to my existing home security/alarm system. The only negative I have encountered is the effective range of the cameras. In general, they will routinely only motion activate at a distance not to exceed 20 feet,. Surprisingly, though, depending upon the type of activity, the angle to the camera, and the lighting of the sun, I have had them activate at a range of close to 100 feet, but this an exception, not the norm. It would be extremely beneficial if the motion activation range could be increased.

It works great, set it up and running in 10 minutes. I gave it 4 stars. Batteries lasted a little over a month, thought it would last a little longer. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

The picture and ease of setup with these cameras makes them excellent, however the cameras can be temper mental, and slow to respond. This is probably due to the nature of wireless signals. I would still recommend them as it doesn't happen often.

I wanted a weatherproof camera for outside but didn't want to run wires for power. This is the only camera that can does that. So far the battery life has been good. The app could use a bit of work and the sensitivity could use improvement as well.

This is a product that is very easy to install. It is very informative and most of all a great price

The Netgear Arlo cameras are perfect for those who wish to have a decent surveillance system without the cables or wires. The motion detection settings take a little bit to get used to as you need to adjust it so that it's not constantly recording.

Great camera, the only problem I have is purchasing batteries every 2-4 weeks it seems. I believe I've paid more for batteries than I did for the camera.

I purchased these for my new home. I was unable to easly run wired systems or find outlets close enough for wireless cameras. This being a battery operated camera and having no wires at all is great. Mounts are so easy. I do wish you could use a nether wireless router as the camera hub. Hate having another hub. I have a, phillips hue, Sonos, MyQ chamberlain hubs already. Getting a little tight. Don't tell my media corner (full of wires) that I am all wireless!!! haha

Purchased a Logitech system that worked quite well...but one power pack stopped working and couldn't be replaced. Arlo seems to be a terrific improvement and very easy to install...anywhere. Still learning how to use effectively but so far so good.

the cameras were easy to setup compared to the hard wired camera. On problem is the battery if you setup outside. The battery drains fairly quickly. Might be a setting issue. I will have to fiddle with it to see if there is a more optimum setup.

This little camera has great image quality, night and day. App works well, and install was simple. Highly recommend.

This was a great camera for a beginner. What sold me was that it is wireless, so you can move cameras around to fit your needs. Also, I really like that the monitoring/storage of the video is free for the first 7 days of storage for up to 5 cameras.
