I installed the 4 camera Arlo system about 2 weeks ago; 2 cameras outside the house and 2 inside. The installation and setup was quick and easy. I had no problems syncing the cameras with the base station, and have set up the app on my phone, my wife's phone, and a tablet (all iOS in our case). The only adjustments I had to make were to fine tune the motion detection sensitivity, which the app makes very easy to accomplish. Once set up, it was very easy to create a couple of modes with rules and schedules. I have a schedule set up to monitor and record motion outside every night, and an "armed" mode that monitors for motion and records from all 4 cameras, to use when we are away.

Quality of picture is great, but only records when there is movement. Does not come with DVR so it doesn't continuously record. Bought for a nanny and just wan't what we needed. Ease of installation is fantastic since everything is wireless.

This was purchased as a gift for a family member. He loves it. I have had the system for almost two years. I would recommend purchasing an extended warranty with the company. The system works great for wireless. You will not get the video clarity or distance you would with wired system. Night vision will be closer to 10' than 30' to activate system. Once activated, may record something within 20' anything past that isn't to clear or even recorded. I had a camera run right through batteries. It was replaced by the company for minimal fee. I am on my second camera that appears to be starting up with the same problem. Those batteries are over $2 a pop and four in each camera. The rest of the cameras, batteries are usually at or over 3 months (depends on recordings). Something I was never told until I had a camera that wouldn't sync. Be aware that there is a minimum download speed and was told anything under system isn't suppose to work. The company blamed the download speed (10.4 Mbps) as the problem for not syncing. I said I had the system for two years and never an issue until now. That was through chat and basically would not listen. Called support and they started with the same line. Finally understood my system hasn't changed and worked at slower speeds. She had me reset everything (I only reset camera) and all worked and still working. Oh, one suggestion. If you keep getting camera activated but nothing there. Re-position the camera . Wildlife trigger a few of the cameras. Deer is no problem. But all smaller critters don't activate well when camera was higher off the ground.

I have not used any other surveillance cameras before but this one didn't have very good clarity in the picture and the motion sensor didn't capture whatever small animal is still having a party in my yard at night. Since it didn't work for my yard issues (which was my main reason for purchasing) I decided to try it out on my toddler so I could go in the other room and keep an eye on her with my ipad. There is enough of a delay between what is actually happening and what you see that it made me uncomfortable depending on it for that either. She could be climbing up the entertainment center and I wouldn't find out until she was already jumping off of it.

Easy to install, easy app to use. Batteries do run out every 3-4 weeks, but great camera and good picture.

Wanted something easy for my parents to use and also easy to install. My mom works out of the home and can't see the driveway from her hair shop, by putting one on the driveway she can see when she has a delivery or a customer arrives. She also likes having it on the back yard to watch the wildlife including our dogs! This system is very user friendly and has a GREAT picture quality!

Set-up is quick & easy, but I didn't realize you had to purchase a cloud storage service to maintain your pics/vids past eval period. New Pro unit has added audio and local storage options, so I might upgrade. The camera is pretty sensitive to motion, so you have to play with the settings, but night vision is excellent & the wireless, hang anywhere install is great!

This camera system is pretty good. Installation is a breeze. Putting the cameras up is comparable to hanging a picture. The app works great with push notifications. I gave 3 out of 5 stars simply because in my application the cameras were constantly detecting motion and turning on. Thus the batteries died the first night. I ended up returning for a wired system.

i like this product, however it is difficult to set times on mobile devices. It would be nice to have audio. It is very easy to use and set-up. It would be nice also if it came in black as an option.

I did quite a bit research for a completely wireless security camera and these are the only one. Pretty good quality and great features on the app to customize a schedule to set these cameras. These cameras also have night vision and the battery is supposed to last for a year, so far so good. Extremely easy to set up, took me only a few minutes to pair with the router. Only complaint I have is the 2-4 second delay. But overall great security cameras

Excellent product - very easy to install and connect to your WiFi. Being fully wireless allows for installation just about anywhere. Only draw back is its limited range of motion detection

Just the fact that there was no wiring and electric lines to run made this a great camera system for me. Not sure about the life of the batteries yet but overall the system gets a A in my book.

Ive been researching on what security camera to purchase, and this camera system was the right purchase. Very easy to set up, great app, and easy to install. Strongly recommend for first time Security Camera buyers.

It is better than I expected. Battery is still full since I have used for 1.5 month. Captured picture quality is not as good as Logitech Alert which is not commercially available by manufacturer. But camera connection though internet is faster than Alert. Overall I am satisfied with purchase. The reason why I give 4 stars is due to picture quality. But for the security monitoring purpose, it is good.

This product is very easy to install and works well so far. The motion range varies at time since it's totally wireless. I'm a happy owner of this item. I've recommended it to my friends at work.

Great little camera for the money. You have to buy the ARLO Q if you want to talk to the person. I got it for my home because I still work and travel . My husband is suffering from Parkinson
