Not sure what the hype is about these. The only reason I have it three stars is that it is the only wifi camera I know of that is completely wireless. video is awesome and the tracking feature can be useful. Annoyed that it does not detect sound which is what I needed it for as a baby monitor and it kept losing signal with the software/wifi.

Goes thru batteries too fast. 3-4 weeks. 123 batteries aren't cheap. Software updates are a nightmare, going to website to get help is totally worthless. I do like the picture quality and the wireless feature. If I could do over I would wait a couple of years for improvements.

This is the only totally free wireless security camera system available. After reading many reviews, I purchased this item from Best Buy. After using it the past month, it was really easy to setup and I love how you can access it from the iPhone app. I highly recommend this security system.

After months of strange vandilism in my community and BMW's getting broken into, we decided we needed some cameras up at our house and something to maybe deter people from what they had been doing. These are what we were looking for. They are super easy to setup and they are really cute and also get the job done. I can set them on a schedule to be alarmed and recording during certain hours of certain days through the week or I can alarm and disarm as I feel necessary. They hold up well through the storms that we get. The way that they mount had me concerned but they are doing excellent. I love how I can view everything on my phone at any time. I even use these to tell me who is at the front door ringing my door bell by watching the live feed on my phone. The only 2 things that I wish I could adjust is the fact that it notifies me on my phone notifications but it also emails me when it has detected motion. I really only need the phone notifications and I can't find a way to just not get the email notifications. I have 100-200 emails every night that I have to clean out on top of the recordings I have to go through on the app of all of the detections it has seen. I also wish that they would record quicker when they sense motion. Almost all of the recordings that I get barely get the bumper of the vehicles passing in a community where the speed limit is less than 10 mph. And it isn't clear enough to get license plate numbers either. But overall if something happened like we are experiencing in our community, we would get enough of a recording most likely to see what we need.

They work well if your WiFi can reach that far. The batteries are also kind of expensive. The downfall is since the system constantly goes down it need to reboot and since the router is on the landlords side they have given up. Make sure you can do it yourself.

Had this product for some time now and it works well. Only thing that I would love is if the camera detects motion, that it rewinds 5 or more seconds so you can actually see the person. The delayed recording def needs an upgrade and the batteries provided with the system doesn't last very long. Other then that, good product to purchase!

I am very pleased with this Arlo system. I already had the VueZone system. It has way much more versatility, and allows for a significantly better funcionality. The picture quality is way better. It has a very friendly interface. The entire product is worth the price that I paid for it.

Easy to install onto mounting bracket. Wireless systems means no holes to drill through walls or power cords to connect.

Love the fact that I don't have to run any wires. Batteries last a long time. I am going on two months an only one camera tells me batteries low. Only reason is cause its indoor and motion turns it on. Love the magnetic mounting.

I purchased the Arlo wireless cameras because my neighborhood had been having some problem with vehicle break-ins and I wanted some security to help with that. One camera was installed at the front of my house and the second was installed in my backyard to keep track of my dogs when they were outside. The cameras are super easy to install however I thought the mounting bracket was magnetic too, but it is not. I put this high enough where a thief could not easily reach up and grab it as the camera magnetically mounts to the mounting bracket. Instead of drilling holes in the bracket and my house, I used a high-quality double sided tape which has worked extremely well. They sell other types of mounting brackets separately if you want to feel more secure and have a good place for screwing in screws. I am overall very pleased with the performance of all of my Arlo wireless cameras. My only regret is that I would have made the investment of going Pro with all of them so that I can hear sound from each one. I did end up buying an add-on Pro camera to put at my front door and moved the non-sound one at the far end of my garage.

Great buy can set it up in 10 min. You need a high speed router. You connect the base sync the cam drill a hole in the wall where you want it mounted download the app free for iPhone or your computer and you are in business

so far I have been very impressed withthe quality of the camera image,there seems to be an occasional glitch when connecting to the cameras sometimes you have to attempt it 2 or 3 times. the most frustrating thing however is trying to set the sensitivity level for the camera I have them set up outside and there's no way they can be left on to start recording because everything triggers them even when I put them down on 0 sensitivity it's still triggers it so that eats up your battery life and gives you a lot of false starts... I hope I can figure it out because I would really like them to catch the guy who stole my nice lanterns off my front porch! .

The Arlo security camera is very compact and able to cling on the window frame without using the supplied magnetic holder. The set up is easy and the app is simple to access. Notification is at timely manner with the clip.

Very please with the pictures from the recording. The sensory on the camera are very good. Wish I knew how to adjust the sensitivity on the sensory because it picks up the shadows from the sun. Which cause the sensory to constantly trigger the camera to record. Alro should have a better customer support system or numbers available for help.

Good little system except the battery life isn't great. Recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries if you will be using this a lot.

I got these because they're the only wireless indoor/outdoor cameras I could find. Pricey, but kind of worth it. Set up is easy, and they work with smartthings. However, they are very leggy, especially if they don't have perfect wifi reception. I guess that's to be expected though. I'm not enthusiastic, but I would recommend them.

I love these cameras. Easy to set up and monitor. Notifications can get a bit annoying, but better to know than not.

This little bitty camera acts as good or better than the big boys! C'mon man, the rez is phenoms, cool features, cloud uploads and price outstandingly fair. Will get more!

Easy to install b/c it is wireless, but depending on use, batteries will need to be replaced sometime down the road. I'm not totally happy with the night vision on camera looking onto my driveway. I had a problem with one camera showing a pink picture which I hope is taken care of by me opening and closing the battery compartment. It's clear now, but I haven't reinstalled it outside yet.

Wanted webcams to check on our cabin. We have three cameras there and one we installed to view the backyard and alley of our home. Easy set-up with both routers. App works well managing cameras in both locations. Batteries that were supplied were only at 75% so called the company and without hassle, they shipped us four new sets.
