I am very happy with the Arlo wireless surveillance camera package I purchased. It is reliable and extremely easy to set up. I added the Arlo table/ceiling mounts and I really like their versatility. Don't hesitate to purchase the Arlo cameras because they do great in in the daytime and nighttime. The 720 hd cameras are waterproof and durable. If you want s system and name you can trust then buy netgears Arlo cameras.

Elegant design - Very easy setup - Excellent online interface - The major downside beside the inherent limitations of battery power, is the very limited range of motion detection. A moving object has to be within 10-15 feet to trigger recording, and that's moving across the field. Moving straight toward the camera makes it even less sensitive.

Needed camera to watch dogs during day. Husband was able to install. Usage is simple to follow. We do no ha r any issues

This wireless camera system is a great idea. They really didn't do their homework when they decided to make it battery only. I am pretty disappointed in its longevity. First of all the batteries are special and expensive. Second their is not audio and thirdly they do not last but for a few hours of motion so don't put it anywhere there is a lot of traffic. The battery expense of operating this system is quite ridiculous. You need to constantly replace the batteries. This is one of the worst and (expensive to run) investments I have made. I would not recommend this purchase unless you own a battery store. I wish I could return it for a different model. Pros. vision good, easy to hang

This camera system is great- easy set up and easy app to use. We purchased the system before we went on vacation to keep an eye on the house and pets. We told the house sitter that we had the cameras and I think the sitter was on their best behavior because of them. The cameras are wireless so we can move them easily. We have had them almost 3 months and the battery life is still in the high 90% range. The cameras were always able to show us what was going on. Now that we are back, we have them on alerts so if anything moves at night it records it. We will be getting another camera to add to our system.

Is great cameras for a beginner but the batterys going fast

I bought these cameras on sale during Black Friday. I bought the 4 pack + base station and 1 pro camera. The setup was relatively easy, although it took some time to sync all of the cameras with the base station. At one point all of my cameras went offline and it took quite a bit of troubleshooting to get them back online. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. I like the ability to watch any camera in real time and like that Arlo provides 7 days of recording for free. I also like that I can talk to someone with the pro camera. I would recommend these to those looking into getting security cameras.

My husband and I bought these cameras after he had researched many different products online. We like them a lot but have not completely figured out how to use the scheduling part yet. You can schedule what time the cameras are on and off. It just takes some time getting used to them and figuring them out. But so far, we like them quite a bit.

My mother had someone taking the screens off some of her windows, so we purchased this due to the difficulty we would have running wired cameras. She preferred to have a live view or always record option, but these use infrared for motion sensing, then it records, not ideal for warm weather. We have had these installed for close to 90 days and one camera is acting like it has a weak signal, so I moved the base closer to the one having problems (within 10ft) and it still has the same problem, but the ones over 30ft away have no issues. I called Netgear, (website says you only have 90 days free tech support) got their overseas supports, and was told I had to be at my mother's so they could troubleshoot the system. I haven't had time to do this, so I don't know the problem or solution yet. Overall, my mom feels better with the cameras there, but I'll be putting a wired system in as soon as the weather cools down and I can run the wires.

Love these cameras. The picture quality is excellent. Works well. Dont like the initial time delay before recording. Also, using the App, I wish you could control each camera separately. For example, when in Home Mode, I would disarm the inside cameras but keep the outside ones armed. Does not appear to be a way to do that.

The picture quality is great, highly responsive to movement, the only issue I have and what was not told to me before I purchased them and I wouldn't have done so if I had know this is that you cannot use rechargeable batteries. They will damage the camera, so batteries must be replaced monthly. No issues with connectivity.

I added another Arlo camera to my home and it is even better with 2 cameras. The ability to view both is great and synching took about 30 seconds!

The cameras work well most of the time. It’s great that they are completely wireless so you don’t need to run wires for power or internet. Though the batteries can be rather expensive and the cameras go offline sometimes for no reason. Usually a reboot fixes the issue but it can be annoying.

Wanted a camera at vacation home that would show the condition of my driveway after a snow storm. Camera is indoors at front window and not on motion detection. I use app on my iPhone to get image. Works out great.

I little touchy, can't be around moving trees, branches etc. or the alerts will drive you crazy. Does it's job.

Pros: Good quality, well built, great image quality even in night Cons: short battery life, you will need to get rechargeable batteries or be ready to spend a fortune Cons: slow on the record, I had it watching a door and by the time the camera fired up the subject was past the camera, aiming them correctly is important

Great HD pic, however yiu have to change the batteries, which cost $20 for 4, to often.

We are completely happy with this purchase. There was a worldwide delay that happened the first day we tried to use it, but system was quickly fixed and refreshed within 30 minutes. Other than the coincidental first day problem, we have had no problems since. Clear picture!

Great security camera but limited by app functionality. lacks the ability to set notifications for individual cameras like in email software. You either get a notification every time the wind blows or a car drives by the outside camera, or nothing at all. Email notifications are set to individual cameras, but app notifications are all or none. Seems like a very simple fix for a company like netgear.

The setup for the Netgear base is super simple and so are the bases for the cameras. The quality of the video is good too.
