Tried these cameras but it was missing some of the functionality i was looking for. Definitely has its limitations, about 4-5 second delay in recording. Someone could walk into its field of vision and trigger the sensor and walk out of view before camera starts recording. Ended up with going with the Arlo Pro2 to catch video sooner

Love that it's wireless. Only thing is that the batteries runs it fast if there's a lot of activities going around the house where the cameras are at and it's motion detected. So it doesn't record all day long only when there's motions. Which is fine. The video is really clear also.

Seems to work good just a little delay and to enlarge needs to be worked on. Two of our cameras were stolen in a burglary and because of the camera, he was found and arrested.

These are great cameras ,they have a good quality of picture. If you would prefer to have sound I would go with the Arlo2 series. The cameras are very sensitive they do pick up every movement which could cause low battery life.

I bought the 4 camera bundle for $250. These are non pro type. I like everything but how they are powered. Must use nonrechargable batteries at $2 dollars each. The not recommended rechargeable batteries will set you back $150 for 16 and a charger. I just got mine installed and I’m at 80% already on most of them. I would recommend upgrading to the pro as it comes with rechargeable batteries and an option to plug in an AC adapter. The pro is the same 720p, but has audio I don’t care about. The pro 2 is 1080p, and isn’t much more. I’d rather get an extra camera and ditch the audio for a price break. Basically I’m paying another $150 or the cost of batteries, but only getting 2 cameras for $400.

Very nice system. Easy to setup and use. I also like that I can add other cameras to the system in the future. I had to play with some of the settings, but it was easy to figure out.

Good quality cameras with very clear live pics. I was disappointed the motion detection is greatly reduced if set inside a window. Motion is triggered off reflection from glass. I realize I can mount outside, but on pool deck, kids could knock camera off magnet with pool toys.

    Arlo Wireless Security Camera

I like the system and would recommend it if you want a wireless option with security cameras. Set up was very easy. The only con I can come up is every now and then the Wi-Fi connection is a little finicky. A re-set of the router and Arlo base station usually does the trick. I would hate for this to happen while out of town and I can't reset it.

I wasn't sure these little cameras would work, but they are awesome. I have them about 150ft away from house, and they still work great. Very clear HD picture. Battery life excellent if you set up correctly. No wires!!!! No problems!!

Good system for around the home

The rated distances are nowhere near as advertised. I tried to use the system in a parking lot with the cameras 110 feet from my home and the cameras couldn't pick up a strong enough signal from the base station. Even with a signal extender and the cameras 60 feet away they wouldn't work properly. The original batteries lasted about 10 days, but this can be common wjith a new system as it's usually being checked over and over again. Arlo did give very good tech service when I contacted them by email for help. I would recommend this unit for around the home, but not for an outdoor use although the cameras are rated for it.

I wanted wireless cameras and some claim to be wireless, but you find out the cameras require a low voltage cable. Well, that is NOT wireless! This system is simple to "install", the cameras run off of batteries and in some reviews they say the batteries are expensive and don't last long. NOPE, the batteries are about $2 apiece versus claims of $5 or more and they are still good after a month! Good system, great to install and totally "take it with you, if you move!"

Couldn't be happier! Purchased this system, and placed one at each of my doors in the house. It captures a 10second clip from a few seconds after it detects motion. You can also download the iPhone app for it to notify you as soon as it detects motion. It'll show you the still image and allow you to click into it for the 10second clip. So far, it's been great! Minimally obtrusive so it can kind of be out of sight as well.

I had a wired CCTV system I wanted to go wireless for ease of install and after doing a lot of research I found that Arlo four camera system met all my needs. It has the best Wi-Fi connection, Great video and motion sensing. Most importantly it doesn't charge a monthly fee and requires up to a week. The only drawback is the batteries will need changing soon, they're spendy if your motion goes off a lot so I ordered rechargeable ones to solve that problem. Overall excellent product and I would highly recommend it!
