These cameras provide a good image. However, if you have a flag on the outside of your home, it records it as movement. It also does not recognize someone at the front door directly behind the flag.

Great product, easy to install and battery last long until now all of it is still fully charge more than 3 months of used. Not so complicated camera system. User friendly.

The arlo net gear system is great for checking on deliveries and who comes to the doors. The extra camera can be used as a cat cam when we are away. Wonderful clear images.

Finally got the Arlo Security System set up a few days ago and have had the chance to test it out a bit. Set up was pretty straight forward and easy to follow. The image feeds were fantastic once you get them up and running. The cameras were able to detect motion from a random pigeon walking by to random leaves falling from trees. They're equipped to enable night vision under low light conditions automatically without need to manually toggle them. A quick break down of some camera features: - Motion detection can be adjusted so that the cameras are only enabled once an object moves at a certain speed. There's a slide bar that you're able to adjust the range with. - Once motion is detected, the cameras can be set to record for a certain period of time. Default is 10 seconds. - You can enable the camera feeds from any device that has access to a browser or from a mobile device with a compatible app. - The cameras are mounted to walls/ceilings/whatever by usage of these round magnets that helps facilitate in easy battery replacements - Not really a feature but the camera runs on 4 CR123 batteries that are not exactly common - With the central hub in the center of the house, I was able to place the cameras around the house without any range issues - Footage is recorded to the cloud and stays there for 30 days. You can extend the stored data for a longer period of time but that requires a monthly subscription. I've yet to have the cameras long enough to test the battery life so I will refrain from commenting on that aspect. One thing of note, do not bother trying to set up the cameras with the phone app it fails to register for some odd reason. Set up through a laptop resulted in no issues. Speaking of the app, it seems to be lacking in many ways. You are only able to set when the cameras are enabled to detect motion and what to do once motion is detected; email or push notification. What about per camera functions? Or the ability to enable various forms of notifications depending on time of day? Those are just two examples of the myriads of ideas that I can come up with within this short time of jotting out this review. The good news is that the hardware seems to be great and the only thing lacking is the software which can be fixed with some competent programmers. I look forward to more features rolling out (and I hope there are more rolling out) as the system seems to only be held back by the software running it itself. I must add, I've received the security system for free through a test review program but with the right price I would definitely recommend the purchase to friends and family.

It is a great product. The only reason for my 3 star review is the annoying battery. Why could they not include rechargeable batteries??? You need expensive batteries to operate system. And a lot of them!

I am so pleased with my purchase of the Arlo Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi cameras. They were so easy to install and connect to my network. I get text and email alerts, which give me great piece of mind. The only drawback is the night vision captures are not as clear as I would like. The daylight captures are crisp and clear.

Works well most of the time. Replacing rechargeable batteries is a nuisance, and there is about a 4 second delay from the time the recording starts

This has been a great system and very easy to install. Adding the additional camera took less than 10 minutes to set up. Great bargain for a system with no monthly fees.

Unless you have the extra money to throw away on the batteries, do not buy the wireless cameras as they consume to much energy from your batteries and they aren't cheap. Other than that is a good system.

cameras are easy to set up and customize. Notification features are good and ability to share reports with others is great.

I had this for a week! It didn't catch people's faces when they were even walking past the camera , poor quality and only recorded for up to 60 secs if you set it. I couldn't even see my self from 10ft away . The outside was worse . Not worth it!! Sometimes I couldn't even see anything. Now for the good reasons .it was good for when I could have a peace of relief to see my house when I wasn't home. The setup was easy and equipment is amazing. And it has night vision !

I bought a set of four cameras and they work great. They were easy to install (up and running within 10 minutes) and work great. The wireless function works really well.

I was able to install and get it workimg within 10 min. There was no issues at all. I was travelling to foreign countries during holiday. When ever I had Internet access in my phone I was able to view live camera. Also I like the feature of sharing my camera with friends so that they can keep eye for me and also get alerts.
