Easy to install and get video right away. We hooked up two, outdoors for an entryway and the video--- day or night is excellent and can be checked from mobile phone or computer as well as getting notification if someone has set off the motion sensor.

If your looking for a truly "wireless" camera this is it. Comes with 4 lithium CR123 batteries. Picture is great and it is a snap to setup (under 15 minutes) The only thing I wish it had is a way to adjust the motion detection field other than just square.

Easy to install. Easy to monitor. Didnt know each camera uses batteries. Battery life is not great.

The cameras were very easy to set up and install the picture was very clear and the alerts came to iPhone when ever someone passed in front of them and started recording I am looking to buy one more camera to add up to 5 cameras on one system

I placed all four cameras outside and painted them to help hide them, works great. I wish the scheduling of when and how to record and email alerts was more flexible but overall I'm very happy.

First let me state that the camera is crispy clear and the app is perfect without any complain....easy to navigate. The battery last pretty long, I have it up and running for the past two month with 85% battery left with moderate traffic.

The picture quality is pretty good and the cameras are sensitive. Maybe too sensitive. The main problem we have is that they start recording when nothing is there. Maybe it is the wind, maybe a bird, maybe a change in light. We reduced the sensitivity but it still happens. Still, I guess it is better to record than not record. The installation is easy.

These work well for indoors or small spaces outside without much activity but if pointed toward the street or a tree that blows in the wind it constantly goes off wearing out the battery and sending a ton of notifications. We got them because they're simple to install and operate but they're not great if you're wanting full surveillance outside your home.

Most break-ins happen during the day when you are at work. Alarm systems are nice to scare off an intruder and in most cases reduce your home insurance premiums, but I would also like to know "who" attempted to force their way into my home or even snooping around. Can enable the system though an easy to use application for your smart phone if you forget, or are remote. When motion is detected by the camera, the video is uploaded to the cloud service at no additional charge for 7 days of retention. The system will alert you (text and/or email) and if needed you can download the video or share it with other sources - so 7 days is more than enough time. Arlo has come out with rechargeable systems so if buying batteries discourages you check out the newest model. Installed for almost a month now and the batteries are still showing a full charge. Check your Internet speed before investing into these units. You may need to increase the bandwidth to connect live to see what is going on after an alert. Easy installation and customization afterwards so the alerts can be informative. If you have a large dog, expect false positives, otherwise no negative issues to report. Sturdy, easy to use and solid little camera's without the wires!
