Love being able to see what is happening at home while I'm away!!!

Packaging touts 4 outdoor cameras, but only supplies 1 outdoor mount. Interior mounts are magnetic and not suitable for outdoors. Outdoor cameras are not secure, with either mount! I purchased 4 camera unit, and 2 extra cameras. Packaging does not make it clear that if you add more than 1 camera, you now must pay $10/month to be able to use it. Batteries are relatively expensive, and some of mine were down to about 70% by time I got cameras installed and adjusted. Cameras mounted outdoors do not show much detail at about 20'. Unless set at lowest sensitivity, the slightest motion of a leaf/bird/insect sets it off. To keep from being notified several times an hour, I had to set the motion sensors very low. Most times, the person was out of the picture before it started recording. I returned all items a few days later. Best Buys gave me a full refund without any hassle. Would I recommend this? Yes, but only for interior use.

I added these 4 on top of the 5 I already have. They used to cost $150 each, and now average about $60, so why not. I was tempted on the Arlo Pro but I realized now a days thieves wear hoods so 720P is as good as 1080P HD or 4K. You are not gonna be able to get much from the videos. You won't be able to read number plates like on TV. So for the value, this is a great buy. It also comes with a newer version of the connecting station. It's a ted smaller than the last version. I found Arlos to be really good and responsive. I have a Ring and Arlo never have trouble connecting but Ring does have Wifi issues. Arlos also last for 1-2 months whereas my Ring will be lucky to last 2-3 weeks.

I purchased it about a month ago. The setup was easy for someone who is new at this. The syncing was simple. The mounting was self explanatory. Once installed the picture quality was better than I expected. Overall I am satisfied.

I purchased this system not as a security system but to remotely monitor a specific area at work. We use enterprise wireless security so cameras like Nest do not work so this was the best solution without making a simple task too difficult. The cameras are clear and the battery life is very good for my use as the cameras have been up over a month and still have over 60 percent battery left.

The camera was easy to set up but the directions and information related to other aspects was minimal. It was even difficult to find contact information to ask the questions I had remaining. Still trying to work out sensitivity settings. A bird will make it record, but not a person walking up my driveway, which is frustrating.

Bought it initially to spy on a Raccoon that keeps messing up my trash can and ended up seeing many different nocturnal animals. Good resolution and motion detection keeps you updated. Bought another one and installed on front door. Best thing is wireless so you don't need to mount it and can take it with you around the house.

The cameras are discrete and easy to place unnoticed. Great to be able to move around the house as needed. Magnetic camera component makes it easy to move to temporary places. I found the scheduling cumbersome and would like to be able to set a separate schedule for each camera.....maybe I just have not looked hard enough to understand how to do this.

Was a bit skeptical of this working with some of the distances they would be from the base unit bit no issues!!! Battery life has been great. Had a few months and the meters haven't went lower.

This is third set of Arlo cameras. Very easy set up.
