There have been a handful of vehicle thefts in our area the past couple weeks and I wanted to be proactive about protecting our investments. We did a ton of research and settled on the Arlo for the simplistic approach. Purchased the Arlo cameras and had them installed within minutes. The instructions were simple to follow and everything seemed to work... atleast until we put it to use. The biggest flaw of this product for us was the motion detection. This unit does not record 24/7 and because of that, it needs to work right when it picks up motion. If you visit the Arlo forums, you'll find hundreds of posts related to the lag of motion detection. My wife came home one day and managed to go inside the house and it didn't start recording until she went back outside. We followed all of the proper guidelines that were discussed by the manufacturer in the manual. We also contacted Netgear directly and were disappointed with the outsourced customer support. I think this product will work for some, but the common complaint is the motion detection. We will be returning this tomorrow and today we picked up a Samsung security system.... which unfortunately means we have to run wires throughout the house. Had high hopes for this product.

very easy to install and quick to check from email or phone. only thing that I would wish is that the battery life can be longer. The special bettery is very expensive to buy.

Very good battery life for inside and outside use. I have had the cameras for 2 months now and my outside cameras are just now at 70% batter life even in extremely cold weather. The only negative I have is that the motion detection does not pick up everything. A car can drive right by my house and the motion detection will only pick up sometimes.

Works great. Easy setup on pc or phone. Batteries don't last that long.

Very good cameras for the novice. Bought these for my parents for the simple fact that they are wire free. Be mindful and set them to motion only otherwise you will deplete the battery's at a much faster rate. Good for the money. The cr123 battery are a bit pricey may want to look into recharagable.

These cameras work great outdoors and fit my needs.

Peace of mind was great with remotely watching my cameras from anywhere i was at...batterys are very expensive and go fast ...rechargeable ones would be ideal ...also the video would miss the 1st 5 seconds of the motion sensor so it would be a delay which i didnt like

These cameras are Very easy to install. Clarity is great, the only downfall is that when mounted to our home it will pick up cars driving by the house and not ones who come into our drive way. Kind of defects the purpose in a way. However I still like them because I can view live and take pictures if need to do so as well as arm and disarm them as necessary.

Was on the fence between these and the Nest cameras........ over much deliberation went with these and so far have been very happy with the decision. Very clear images, night vision, etc.

These cameras are wireless so you can move them anywhere you can sit them or magnetically place. Settings can be changed using the mobile app and cameras can be viewed on the app also. Love them!

We purchased these cameras based on reviews from neighbors who used them to identify thieves. So far, our only disappointment is the reflection from the glass when placing the camera inside pointing out. We don’t want to leave it outside because they are easily stolen. We think we will be able to fix this problem and use the cameras effectively

Bought two wireless cameras for a second home. Very good picture, simple to set-up. Works as advertised. Had to get a second Arlo account to connect. Very happy with camera. Excellent buy.

I bought this camera bundle because it's wireless and I'm tired of dealing with wires. It's so easy to set up but 2 down side to this camera is that it doesn't have voice and doesn't record 24/7. Only when motion is detected. The newer updated one does. It comes with 7 day of free cloud storage.

Great Camera but it didn't work well for me I think the modem it has didn't work so I returned it. I'll get another one in the spring.

The idea of no wire running to the camera is great. This unit comes with a one time use set of batteries that lasted 4 days. Additional batteries are expensive and so are rechargeable ones.
