I am happy with the device, but wish it had sound. If it had sound, it would be perfect, but I knew what I was getting myself into before I purchased.

Idiot-proof setup directions (takes less than 5 minutes), great picture quality, and excellent interface/controls via desktop or mobile device.

They work, they are better than the new rechargeable one but its still an Arlo. Ive had Arlo now for a number of years, and it works but not the way I thought it should. You have to pay a subscription there is no way that I know of that you can use it with your own software. The motion detection is second rate sometime it catches people sometimes it wont. The camera doesnt turn on untill people are almost out of frame. The app will kick you off and not remember your password or you will only be able to get on the app with just one of your mobil devices, but not all the time. anyway its better than nothing and it does notify you Im going to try IP cameras and Software on a server I build next time see if that is any better or worse

Everything about the system is pretty good. Good picture and ease of camera placement and application. Only problem is the motion detector picks up passing cars better than people walking up to front door. So most of the motion recordings are of passing cars. Will probably return system to store.

It pick up all of the activities to any movement outside or inside of the house. A great product to buy!

I enjoy my Arlo wireless cameras. I am not too fond with getting in the attic to run cable etc for a camera system although the performance etc would be better. I have no issues with any of my 8 cameras or the Arlo app and cloud recording. There have been times where the camera picked up motion too slow and did not record who stopped by or was knocking on the door, but nothing happened as those were very quick events where the people left the property.

I bought this system because it is wireless. The resolution on the cameras is great, even at night. I love the different scheduling options as well and it was easy to set up. I also like that we can add more cameras later. The battery life isn't great but not bad either. We have had some issues with signal strength but that isn't a problem with the Arlo system.

I have always used a security company, but wanted an easy way to actually see and capture activity!! ARLO to the rescue!! Couldn’t be happier!! Works perfectly and the batteries have a very long life!! Recommend this product to friends all the time... never heard any complaints!!

Works great, I would like to see a zoom / focus option however - to better see distant things such as a automobile license plate so as to ID it.

Wireless and very simple to set-up the Arlo wireless security camera system. You can't beat wireless. We love having the arlo app, which is also very simple to use. We can check on our home when we are away, or we can set-up motion detection and have alerts when motion is detected. A fabulous system, we were initially concerned as we live in the country and have line of sight internet, so our internet is not very fast, but we have been pleasantry surprised that our lack of internet speed hasn't been an issue. We would 100% recommend.

Cameras and base station were relatively easy to connect to my network. The camera settings in the app were relatively intuitive as well. The actual functionality of the cameras however has a lot to be desired. Half the time they disconnect from the base station and require resetting or they don't record when triggered. I'll get recordings of a vehicle barely clipping a corner of the cameras view but will get nothing when a package is delivered right in front of the camera. I've done all the settings over and over with the same results. This system was a complete waste of money, I'll just add more UVC micros to my existing system as this experiment to find a more cost effective solution failed.

We bought this so we could see who was at our front door. We initially bought the Ring doorbell camera and we returned it because it did not work at all. We have been very pleased with this camera, it sends notifications every time someone comes into range without fail. Our only complaint is that there is no audio recording. Would definitely recommend

Awesome product. I have these cameras setup around the exterior of my home. Installation was a breeze. App is easy to use. Long battery life. Excellent video quality both day and night.

Easy Set Up. One of the cameras stopped working correctly 2 weeks after instalation. Sent back the faulty camera to Netgear as Best Buy would only exchange all the cameras and not just one. Picture quality is good during the day when it works. Zoom not so good as it distorts way to much.

This is a good system if you would like to monitor areas inside or outside your home or business. Setup is pretty much straight forward and camera monitoring in Apple or Android devices is easy. Battery life is based on frequency of camera activation and this can prolong or decrease based on person settings preferences. Night vision is fairly good.

Great system. Works best if you connect your base to a computer battery backup to avoid base outages.

This is a great system for filling in the blind spots of a full time recording security camera system. It would be ok as a beginner system as well. The batteries do last for quite awhile. I've had my system for about 2 months now and the batteries are still good. Even in the cold northeast. So, the batteries will last depending on usage. The more activity a camera sees, the more video clips you will get. This is not a full time recording system. You will get 10 sec. clips or multiple 10 sec clips depending on activity. You will be notified when activity has been recorded with the app on your phone, which you can check anywhere. Nice package overall.

I like the cameras. The only thing I don't like about then is that the batteries don't last very long.

The Netgear Arlo system provides a quick and easy method for surveilling your home. It took me about 10 minutes to mount these in an outside covered spot near my front door and basement door. Now I can quickly see whose knocking by simply opening the app on my phone. I can also easily check to see if my packages were delivered while I'm at work.

Wanted a camera outside but didn't have power where I wanted to place it. This system fit the bill.
