Only get it if you are willing to replace batteries every week

Batteries die FAST & it's like $10 for 2 small replacement batteries.each camera takes 2 batteries, multiply that by 4+ cameras every 2-3 weeks = an arm and a leg -_- camera skips recordings. Playback is only 10 seconds at a time. it makes u watch a million mini clips that are inconsistent instead of one good one. Doesn't even record a waving hand until a whole 2mins after the fact or sometimes not at all! Needs better motion detecting technology and cheaper batteries. especially for that pretty price tag! Overall terrible buy.

It is a good system and has very clear pictures, But my batteries were dead in a month and they are very expensive I need to call them and let them know that one of my cameras is always pink. That is why only three stars.

This camera works very well, just what I was needing. Very simple to set up and use.

Being able to put this anywhere is unmatched by anything else I looked at. The biggest negative is the set-up vs. the simplicity of Nest. The motion detector is also complicated using images and percentages which can be easily misinterpreted. I'm still not 100% sure of my settings.

25 degrees or lower causing problems with motion detection, pic quality.

My family likes it and feel comfortable with it knowing that we have some security around the house

Picture clarity during the day is pretty good. Night vision is fare. Sometimes the picture from one of the cameras turns an off color like reddish. Definitely better dollar investment than security cameras with a contract company.

It works great but at night the resolution is so bad in night vision you can’t see anything

Picture quality is fairly good. Installing the system was easy. Could use sound to complete system usage.

Bought this to keep an eye on what is going on at home with the baby sitter and also with my vehicles outside. EASY EASY EASY set up and rocks!

Great product! Easy set up and excellent picture! We purchased the set of 4 cameras and had them all up and running within 30 minutes!

My first purchase was DOA and I had a less than satisfactory experience with Arlo support. But after exchanging the system, the new one has worked very well for several weeks now. Batteries all appear to be strong after two full week of operation.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT CAMERA for those who have limited or NO install skills. Very Easy setup and mounting of cameras! I bought the 4 pack on sale for $350. Can't see paying $500! For $350....A Steal! Only downside, wish the Alert Notifications had a variety of sounds and much Louder!!

We've had front door breaking in our neighborhood so I wanted something to keep an eye on my front door. The physical setup was pretty easy. The camera is motion activated but it doesn't always pick up movement until the person is leaving. I may need to adjust placement of the camera.

Cameras do the job with some lag. Batteries only lasted about a month. Considering each camera takes four 123 batteries at $12.99 each, times 4 cameras. It starts to add up! Wireless is a plus, but it only "keeps" footage for 1 week. App is somewhat easy to use but could use an update.

I love these cameras! Super easy to install on your own. Great clarity and app software is pretty good for the money.

After using Arlo for a year I am fed up with all of the hassels of dealing with issues that arise when the batteries go low. My camers won't sync after new battries are inserted, many times I have to start all over with installation to get it up and running again. This is a HUGE hassel as the cameras have to come down, then re-snyc, put the cameras back up, adjust the views, etc.... The app doesn't always work properly. They need to get the bugs worked out this system and make it more user friendly. Right now 2 or my 4 cameras won't work and Tech support is not much help. When the cameras work the pictures are clear and that is great!

Cameras are great however one set of expensive batteries were virtually dead upon receipt. Numerous calls to Netgear have gone unanswered.

Great coverage but I still have to figure out how to allow emails to be sent to my husband but not me.
