Cameras seem very good, cover wide angles. One of provided batteries went bad after a week. Kind of a hassle to change after cameras have been mounted. Overall, am pleased with the quality of the cameras. I am apprehensive as to continued battery life.

We wanted to see what our dogs do when we are not home. We bought the Arlo system with two wireless cameras. We chose Arlo because it was wireless, had two cameras and was a reasonable cost. We had some challenges with getting them set up but not too bad. The cameras work quite well and the videos are decent quality. We have them set to record when motion is detected. The motion sensors are okay but miss sometimes. The thing that bothers me most is that we can only set one camera, not both, to record when motion is detected. Although the system is adequate for our needs otherwise, when we replace this we will buy something else with better options. Since we didn’t buy for security, we kept them, but if security had been our goal I would have returned the Arlo and paid more for a system with better functions.

Only camera on the market I have seen with a 100% wireless feature and this feature has worked well so far. Battery life thus far has been great. 30 videos a day for several months and battery life meter has not even moved. I expect this to change greatly during winter months. However, the motion sensor has frequently not worked the way I needed it to. To sensitive when set high and to week when set at 70%.

I purchased this to monitor my home when away on vacation, work, etc. It is a good system that requires very little setup. The downside is the fact that it uses batteries due to it being all wireless. I have already had to replace the batteries in one camera, and it has only been three months. Keep a battery surplus!

After reading many reviews we decided to buy the Netgear Arlo, it was a bit expensive for only four cameras but we got it on sale and the cameras are wireless so the set up was very easy, the app makes it easy to monitor your home while you're away just make sure to turn notifications off while you're home or it'll drive you crazy. The recordings are very clear and night vision is good provided you have enough light otherwise it shows nothing , we bought a motion sensor light for our backyard & now the images are much clearer . All in all a nice system

Bought theses during Xmas and they worked fantastic. The range is fine with minimal delay based on how you set them up. My home was a long ranch styled residence so I had one camera more than 80 feet out from the hub and wireless router. The only issue I had was the software getting buggy a few weeks ago so I took them back as I would get notifications but they would not show up in the recordings; for almost 2 hours. The quality of the recordings are very detailed, better than the Swann system I just bought. Since then they said they fixed the issue and I will probably buy a two set as opposed to four, for a few hidden from view areas of my home. The system was easy to setup and and use; software was my only issue. Btw I would get lots of motion detection all day and battery never went down so I think the 4-6 months is pretty accurate.

Love it, you can watch live from anywhere that has wifi! The clarity is really good! Alerts you of motion when set to that mode! Only negative is it goes thru batteries pretty fast! Was told they last 8 months, I went thru some in a few weeks!

The cameras were easy to set up an easy to place both inside and outside. I like the option of being able to video all motion, no motion, or on a timed schedule. The alerts and video on my iPhone are great, When I'm not home, I can see who's at my house while they're still there, there's no delay.

Read a few reviews of lesser expensive indoor/outdoor video cams and decided on ARLO after reading many positive reviews. So far so good, setup was a breeze and I have the camera mounted outside our doorway at our second home. Functions fine so far and plan on getting another camera to add on at some point. Still working on getting used to reviewing any data via the website but all functions well with my Iphone as any movement at all I get a notice...there was even a branch blowing in the wind which alerted the camera, pretty cool! Feel this is a real positive unit!

Pros: Wireless installation was not to hard cloud storage works well and can be accessed anywhere. Cons: Night vision is not good and makes the motion sensor even worse monition sensor is okay during the day but it is very hard to find a setting that works okay at night and wont go off all the time during the day. for example if a breeze kicks up and a branch or leaf on my plant moves that trips the motion sensor but if someone is breaking in a night it doesn't sense it until they are about 5 feet from the camera. The App is not great it is not terrible either but i often encounter glitches and have to restart and it can take a little while to find where all the settings are. I would still recommend this product it works and looks nice on my house but I am not totally satisfied with the cost it is a bit over priced.

This was the "best buy" I have made at Best Buy in a long time. The set up was extremely easy. The cameras can be mounted just about anywhere inside or out (no wires). Picture quality (including night vision picture) is excellent. Only downside is no sound recording. I have not had it long enough to discuss battery life, but so far after 2 months of use battery life is still reading high. Quality, cost, and ease of setup make this a great purchase.

Love this home security camera system. So easy to set up and very user friendly app to control on smart phone or through web site. Clear picture on cameras. It's great to be so far away but still see what's going on at home. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for security cameras.

This camera system is. Really easy to set up I had every thing up and running in 15 min. I love that you can move camera so easy from one location to another they even give you extra magnetic mounts. Very convenient. The app on my phone. Woks great. To. My only worry was the cost of batteries. Over time .I did lots of research on rechargeable batteries. They only last 1/4 of time that regular batteries last. Not worth the hasel in my eyes. I found batteries (cr123A) on line for $.90 cents each. Don't be fooled by the ones at store for $12 for 2 Batteries.

I was shocked that my husband and I got such a great pic with Arlo. The wireless set up gives us the freedom to put our cameras where we want them and ease to move them . Love the phone notifications. Can get a little testy on windy days, even with sensitivity turned down, but better than the other types we've tried . The vandal can no longer cut our wires! Thanks Arlo!

This kit is is a good value and easy to set up. It will take some time to set your motion sensitivity however. But the good thing is that it is so tweekable. The video quality is very clear. If you reveiw your library of recorded video, be careful about using up your data plan from mobile devices.

These units are great because they don't need any wires. You can literally place them anywhere. Downsides are battery usage as the batteries don't last as long as advertised, maybe 3 months tops and the arlo cloud servers are not the most reliable (some downtime and frequent buffering)

Good- Simple to hook up and start recording. Picture quality is good. It definitely alerts you every time a camera sensor goes off. So far battery life has been good. Bad- Sometimes it does have about a 3 second lag time. If your internet has fuzzy reception, then the recording will have fuzzy parts in it. Since the camera is motion detected, make sure there is not tree branches in front or by it where it will pick it up. When the wind blows, this thing records which is kind of annoying.

Best on the Market for HD, Outdoor, Viewing Away!

We're quite please with our Arlo system. Whether at home or away, viewing indoors, or outdoors, we are very pleased with the included online storage, easy setup, and high definition this system offers. Two things to note, front door viewing required rotating view online (prior view was upside down so nice option to rotate the view of the camera online), and batters for higher motion areas drain of course at a faster rate, thus requiring replacement sooner. Rechargeable batteries are a solution here! We love our system. Best on the market for HD viewing, outdoor recording or indoor. System nicely designed.
