These cameras work perfectly for what we need outside of the home. The only downfall is you got to replace the batteries. Looking at some rechargeable options via Arlo.

I purchased this camera system to see what was going on at a resort rental property I own in another state. I've sustained substantial damages & theft which wasn't making sense and needed to know what was really going on there. Now I know, and can monitor my entryway from anywhere in the world to see who comes and goes with this system. I can also change the settings, turn on or off the audio and or visual remotely, and can arm & disarm it from anywhere. I get alerts on my I phone when the system is activated by motion. For my purposes, this system works great. It is small, discrete and easy to set up. I finally have peace of mind!

The only reason I'm not giving this system a 1 Star rating is that it has some great potential. However, unless you are only planning on using this at home, to record just a few minutes of video a day, it is not worth the price point. The Good : Good, not great video quality if set on highest battery sucking option. The night vision is very good, but again, sucks batteries dry like there's no tomorrow. Super easy setup. Nice remote viewing options.Stable. The Bad: I own a small business and needed something to be able to monitor when I'm not there and to be able to deter theft. That means the cameras are working approximately 50 hours a week. That also means I needed more than 1GB of cloud space to store videos. I opted for the Premium that cost me an additional $150 for 100GB, which equal 100 hours of video from my 4 cameras. That was sufficient, and although I wasn't super happy about having to throw $150 more dollars into an already expensive setup, I was ok with it. Worked decently for a week. Then the batteries gave low battery warning. 4 to 6 months of battery life? I don't think so. Of course if you dig through Arlo's support forum you can find that figure is based on 4 minutes of camera access a day. Thanks for the deceptive marketing Netgear, You see, CR123s cost about $10 a piece, and since each camera takes 4 of them. It would cost me $8,320.00 in batteries a year. I guess I'll have to crawl up into the attic and install a wired system after all.

Purchased these and they work great and I love them. I move them around more than they are in their mounts, never had a problem with these and highly recommend these cameras

Easy enough for a grdma to use. Can't imagine not having them. They alert me when someone is at the house when I am not there.

The cameras burn through it's costly batteries too fast.

During our monthlong stay in Florida we were notified by email every time our friend checked our home! We also did quite a few live views at various times both night and day. The system worked flawlessly for us. Just be sure to the warning function off before you enter the house! We forgot and had a few warning emails to delete.

I didn’t realize it had its own router so I had to free a space on my network just to get it started. After having it online for a few days one of the cameras turned pink. I reset the camera and it changed back to the proper color. Long delays in trying to remotely connect to the cameras. I decided to return the system

My dad originally purchased wired camera system for his home but had never installed it. After I bought him these and set it up, he’s going to throw those away.

Wide lens views are real good. Limited battery life.

I thought these would be the answer I was looking for. Unfortunately, I ignored the reviews that said the batteries are impossible to keep charged. If a camera is in any area that gets moderate traffic, it will be lucky to last a month. I put one in an area that normally only gets cat traffic a few times a day any it didn't last a month. Anything with more traffic, it was even shorter duration. The other thing is the lack of video. Since these are not constantly recording, it must wake up first. Often, the aforementioned cat camera gets nothing but blank space. This is problematic as we want to see what the cats are doing. I think it's difficult to find a very good application for these.

Would buy the pro cameras as batteries get expensive.

Good system, quick set up. Easy to use interface
