No battery life issue so far (1 month and still at 80%). Takes few seconds to start recording so if you place camera where there's a limited view, this may not be idea.

I'm pleased with the quality of this cam compared to the other security cam I have bought in the past. It exceeded my expectations. This includes the high quality material and constructs, excellent clear video output and the simplicity of its web and iPhone app. As a reviewer, this unit has been provided for eval and has been working fantastic for the following reasons: Easy to set up, it’s wired to my router and was able to wirelessly synch all my cameras. Arlo provides a free account cloud storage for your monitored video files - the account was very easy to set up and easy to access. The web application and its iPhone application is small and quite fast to download from app store and once I logged in, it was able to recognize all the cameras at once. Motion activities are notified. I placed one camera outside (it’s an all-weather cam) and configured to notify me on motion at a specified time range every day. Other cam, I have to turn off notification but records when motion has been detected. The outside mount was awesome, no wires required —- and the “magnet” that attaches the camera to the mount is powerful. Highly recommended because it is easy to set up inside and outside of the house and it works great as expected.

researched this product and seems to be what most people buy. I feel safer knowing this cameras are viewing my property. Just which they were revolving with the motion.

I love my Arlo cameras. It helps me keep an eye on my pets when I am away. The only thing that I would recommend is investing in chargeable batteries.

Trigger time needs work. Tech support from Netgear does not exist you are on your own if you buy this system. Very disappointed.

I could not have made a better investment. I was contemplating purchasing cameras from ADT before purchasing my “Arlo” cameras. ADT would have charged me a monthly fee. I conducted some research and decided to purchase and install my own cameras. I feel very comfortable with my monitoring devices.

I knew full well that this was one of the older gen models. It still works for what I need it for. Looking to get more cameras in the future.
