Setting the schedule to arm the Arlo camera through the app is a little challenging. Also trying to configure camera settings is time consuming.

good cameras, work very well outside but you cant place them all too far away from their base

This system does what I need it to do. Resolution is not great at 720p but is good enough to see who is on the porch or the back door.

The Arlo Wireless system is easy to set up and it performs well. We are very happy with our ability to monitor our home in real time. The motion sensor has a slight lag, but it is still acceptable. After 2 months, battery life has been excellent, still over 60% available. This is a great product.

Camera play back should be longer. Also you only see seconds after delay. Other than that it does a basic job for piecing short video feeds.

I have extensively reviewed this and competing products. In the end, this won out and has been perfect for me. Connect to home router, and you can view and control from anywhere. Battery life has been good, still showing good remaining battery life after 2 months. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I bought a 4 camera system for myself and a 4 camera system for my father-in-law. NetGear Arlo claims the batteries last 4-6 months and this a complete and blatant lie. We've had our systems for over 6 months and the longest any camera has gone without changing batteries is 2 months. We have gone into the settings and decreased motion sensitivity, decreased recording time to minimum setting of 10 seconds, and set the video quality for best battery. Nothing has helped batteries last any longer than 2 months. Each camera takes 4 cr123 batteries. These batteries are very difficult to find and cost about $2 each. This makes the lowest possible cost to run a single camera around $4 per month. On the other end of the spectrum, we've had a few instances where the cameras record motion such as rain and leaves falling where a camera ate 4 batteries in a matter of 2 days. Be very careful if you decide to purchase this product. They claim the batteries last 4-6 months but this a flat out lie.

Not real happy with the cost versus what the camera does. It only records 10 second clips. So if your looking for true security look elsewhere.

This is great to watch the front door if we are not home. The only thing is it is a little slow of a response time to alert me on my phone.

We have the Arlo pros and wanted to add security so we bought these. We were a bit dissappointed. They are not as good quality video and do not have night vision. These are good for capturing movement close to your home/belongings during the day. Anything too far out will not be clear quality video. Anything "captured" at night will not be clear. I highly recommend shelling out the extra $ for the Arlo Pro instead.

We were led to believe that the batteries could last as long as six months, and that it was possible to use rechargeable batteries. In actual use, the battery life was much shorter, especially if the camera was mounted outdoors. The documentation that came with the camera frequently repeated a warning NOT to use rechargeable batteries. We returned the item.

Good cameras but it decided to return them for some with more functionality like built in spotlight and two way talk.

Battery life is very poor. Easy to install. Instructions are okay.

No audio and battery life sucks and my cameras are always dying and batteries are really expensive.

Sensitivity is a bit wonky at times. Other than that they’re okay.

I bought this mainly to watch my dog when he is home alone. I can check on him any time. The home monitoring is just a bonus. It notify me of any motion via my phone. I love it! However, to change the mode there is always a little delay. Not sure if it due to my internet or this system is slow.

I've had these installed for over a year now and I'm still very satisfied with my purchase. It does take time to get your settings where you want them as far as sensitivity and recording time to get the best efficiency from the batteries but once you get it right there's nothing left to do.

I've had this camera for almost two months. The camera for supervision is a great idea but it's consistency with monitoring is flaky. Sometimes it records and sends the alerts and sometimes it does not. I have reviewed the troubleshooting directions online but have not had much success getting it to work very well. Overall I would not recommend this camera.

Easy to use and setup. Amazing capability. Can see a nice range of distance. We shall see how long the batteries last. Love the small profile,enables camera to be easily placed and hidden. Interested to see how it holds up to weather and time. App makes it so easy to view the library of motion

The review is for the three camera set I had earlier purchased a while ago. When it works - it works great, however after about a year or so two of the cameras have failed. One would not be recognized by the app/hub - just asking to call support. Another started sending the email alert every minute without any movement detection - thus flooding my mailbox completely for days. I tried disabling/enabling/resynching. The issue did not go away. When it works there has been no problem. Some have complained about battery. But that is what you would expect in return for flexibility of placing it where you want. With 4-5 movement detections per day, this camera would last a year on same set of batteries. If only they did not act up the way they did - this would get 5 stars. Have now got the 4 set to add to one left as I am still big on total wire free aspect of it due to flexibility it provides. If any of it fails again, will update.
