It's a great alternative for those who don't want to go through the trouble of wiring up a camera for power. A lot of other wireless cameras are only wireless as far as signal, not for power. The batteries for this camera make it work for a long time without replacement. I'm very happy so far.

It works OK but overly sensitive and sometimes does not pick up obvious movement

And to setup, the free account it comes with is sufficient for most applications. You also have an option to upgrade for a monthly fee.

The saleslady told me this was the most popular and that she had these wireless arlo camera's. They eat batteries like there is no tomorrow. I've replace 16 batteries 3 times since Oct 12, 2016. To make things worse Im stuck $485 because of a 15 day return policy. UNBELIEVABLE

Really is perfect to alert me when my kids get home from school or if someone is at the house

If the cameras would record through windows where the camera is safe inside them it would have been great. We returned it for this reason

The cameras are easy to sync and mount. Picture resolution is excellent. Also bought one for my daughter. Both alarms work as advertised.

Clear view with good lighting. Blurry at night. I guess all security cameras are like that.

Best in home security to be my first one. Plus I caught it on sale for $99. I don’t have the fastest WiFi, but it is the minimum requirement. Which results in kind of slow uploads of videos. I realized the audio only refers to ya omg the Arlo doorbell.

Very happy with the ARLO camera systems. Easy to set up, good wifi range, nice resolution and pretty easy to mount. Battery life (so far) also better than expected. Highly recommend this if you have a need for a sew security/baby cameras and don't want to run cabling all over the house.

I like these cameras because they are portable an affordable and they take care of my needs doing surveillance

I first bought a one-camera package. It worked fine, as expected. I was going to give it 4 or 5 stars (4 because of no sound, not because of some malfunction). Then I bought an add-on camera. I could not connect it to the base. I tried many restarts/resets, did not help. Talking it back.

I read numerous reviews before buying the cameras. The major complaint were the amount of storage and that it was cloud. I have not had any problems with amount as I get rid of clips I don't want and if I do I download them which is easy. Overall it is a great system with no monthly fees

One of the most important things I looked for in a security camera was reliability. This camera has yet to fail. My batteries are still going strong and provides a true wireless experience. Keep in mind, this version doesn't include audio feed, you'll need the pro for that feature.

I have been waiting for a true wireless system for quite a while now. Pros: Very easy setup - took less than 5 mins out of the box. All you have to do is push two buttons after plugging in the router and installing the batteries to the camera. Very small camera Photo quality is great! Iphone app is awesome and no problems installing! Email notification is instant and I meant instant. Gives piece of mind! You can tune in from anywhere to check on your property in real-time. Cons: It can take 5-10 seconds to start recording. Not a huge deal. No alarm - not a biggy as this is meant for surveillance. I thought long and hard between this and the Canary system. I figured I would try the cheaper of the two and I couldn't be happier. Setup was easier than making toast and the app was a quick set up. We did multiple tests both during the day and night and the camera starts to record once it detects motion (5-10) second delay. Then you will receive an email and notification on your app that Motion is detected! You can choose to select how long you want the camera recording and how strong you want the detection. We put the detection at 80 percent and have no false alarms and the recording set up as 1 min. The camera comes with 2 magnetic camera mounts - very strong which you can put anywhere. We put it on a table in the middle of other things so it is hard to detect. For the price this is amazing and it gave us piece of mind when we were on vacation. We had a rash of burglaries in our area and this was a very good investment! I can't wait for the second series to come out!

Great battery life. No wires to have to deal with. Batteries are a little expensive but you can buy bulk online at very good prices.

Very pleased with unit. Wish it could have a setting set to record for how long motion is detected. But overall very pleased

The batteries need to be replaced way too often Other than that it is a great camera system.
