absolutely the worst purchase possible. NOT WORTH THE HIGH PRICE! the product runs on wifi, and only records when wifi connection is fast enough. the cameras have not worked properly since purchased, and the base station randomly resets, and stops streaming, so half the time the cameras never even record anything. then there is the battery consumption. each camera takes 4 batteries, and these are NOT cheap batteries! they have to be replaced every 30 days, sometimes the batteries will drain within 5 minutes of setting camera up. aparently the battery life will depend on the wifi quality/streaming ability- so if you have a low speed wifi, or high bandwidth usage, these will NEVER WORK for you! the company's customer service was NO HELP, and we are stuck with these expensive cameras that we cant even use anymore.

Arlo can improve its battery. I have to charge my battery Constantly.

I bought this camera to put up outside to give me some added security. This camera has worked as advertised.

It takes too long to start recording and when it starts it don't record long enough

Our family did all the study and read lots of review online, different websites for the good and bad. Now we got a set of our own for our home, we have to say its one of the best product we purchased. Great product/views while we are away from our home.

Viewing from the top for the night vision is not as clear as compared to camera on the shelf or eye level position.

So far these cameras are the best and I have faithfully had Lorex brand cameras for the past 8 years or so! I love them!

We are not technically savvy and setup instructions are terrible. Suggest you start including manuals with the product.

So far it seems to be working great. I like the fact that they are magnetic as I can move them inside should I want to.

So i already left one comment here before about this system not working. Per previous instruction from netgear support i took this unit back to the store, I was treated very rudely and told that the only unit they could replace my item with was the Pro system for an additional 78 dollars because mine was obsolete. I exchanged the Basic 1 camera Arlo for the new Arlo pro 1 camera system. WEll, the system has failed me again, constant clicking noise, wont detect motion and night vision no longer works. I attempted to call the netgear support line but they did not seem interested in backing their product which had obviously failed. I am absolutely annoyed and disappointed in the poor customer service both at Best buy and at netgear/Arlo support. I now have another non working unit and they have my hard earned money.

I am still learning the ins and outs of the camera. So far, I really like it; especially the SnapBridge feature.

Easy to set up, although takes time. ability to change the set up, not as shown in the user guide. Still don't know how to do that. Battery life a MAJOR disappointment... claim was 6 months. Mine, less than 2 months and that's on optimized, not "best picture"

Wish to have audio. It's the only missing point. It's a great product and do what supposed to do. Easy to configure :)

It is ok to use but connection from application is too slow comparing other one which i have used my home country

I bought this item because it said it could see it up to 100 feet in the dark and you can't see clearly 20 feet with it

Was easy to set up and love the ability to monitor my house. Only four stars since it does not have voice monitoring.

This was on sale when I walked into the store and I picked one up. Install was easy. I had trouble with it staying connected to the internet. It kept buffering and making it impossible to view the video. I ended up returning it to Best Buy. I was told my router was not good enough to support this camera system.

Very good setup picture quality could be better but for price it does the job the app is a great feature

Had issue with packages being stolen around neighborhood during Xmas. Put this in to monitor when deliveries were scheduled. Was able to see delivery and if not at home could get someone over to pick up for us. Worked on internet and cell phones perfectly.

I bought two packages and am sorry I did 900.00 waitesed I have no support I Hadl. 4 chicken killed by something and should have been on camera only 15 feet from 2 camera nothing recorded and can can't go back on film to fine anything out also nothing said about paying for different subscription would not recommend
