This was quite easy to set up. Good picture quality and easy viewing. Does require a strong wifi system so I went with a netgear wifi range extender to boost performance. Only complaint is the battery life. Salesperson stated I could expect 4-6 months and the first camera died at 10 days and the other is very low at about 20 days. Will buy the lithium ion batteries in bulk. Perhaps it was due to the cold temperatures here in Michigan but that should be considered given its advertised for outdoor use. I have one powered arlo q and for the money I will probably go with more of those if I decide to expand. For the extra money, having sound and not worrying about batteries is a plus.

I originally purchased this camera set 3 months ago because of it being pricey. But I purchased it I did because it was the best camera system that was wireless. I dislike having wires around my house but with the Arlo system, I can place a camera practically anywhere and get a great view. The wide angled view is able to capture footage in my living room, dining room, and sections of my kitchen. I can monitor my house when I am on vacation, at work, or if i'm in another room. This system is very simple to set up, I only wish that it provided sound.

I had previously bought this item for my daughter and was pleased, so I decided to buy one for our home. It has a pretty good range and clarity, even in dark. You can customize the settings to how long you record, etc. I just use ours for when we are away and at night when asleep! Because if you left it on all the time, you would get a million notifications, which could be annoying and run down your battery faster. We were recently away for 2 weeks and it was nice to know that we were protected. I received 2 notifications, one a low flying bird and a dog out in the driveway. Im thinking though with the the holidays coming up, maybe it is better to leave on during daytime too when we are here. Never know when someone will try to steal your packages right off your porch, even in a good area! It is so easy to turn on and off with with just a on/off app on your phone. Another bonus, a lot less expensive than highly advertised NEST camera, which I'm sure are good too!

These use non-standard batteries that you will have to track down to replace but, otherwise, its a great wireless security option

This camera system with motion activation works well. It was simple to set up, and there's room to add additional cameras. The app works good too. It sends alerts to your smartphone and email immediately to keep you aware of what's happening in and around your house. We are very happy with it so far.

I am very happy with my ARLO cameras. I love the Dropcam camera that I already had in the house (to monitor my dogs), but I wanted a wireless system for outside. This fits the bill just fine. With the market being inundated with this type of product, I think the price could/should be lower. Overall, I do recommend ARLO.

I needed a home security camera for the outside of my home and the set up was very simple and the quality is excellent. I can log in from my desk at work or on my phone and check the status at any time. If you are looking for something affordable, wireless and good quality, I would recommend to anyone.

I was able to get everything setup and working. The main issue seems to be if they are placed in a window instead of outside they do not wake up with motion. I have heard bad things about battery life but its really too early to tell as of yet. Otherwise the app works great and the cameras are good quality. I have one overlooking the driveway and motion in the driveway will not turn the camera on if its in my window. Only if it is outside.

Camera installs easily and links to network as advertised. I had a little trouble getting sensitivity and aiming just right to eliminate false positives (it is outside in front porch). I wish there was a way to lock camera in place for security reasons as it would be very east to steal... Just remove it from magnetic base. Picture quality is very good.

Easy to install and you can put the cameras anywhere, since they are wireless. Seeing what's going on at the house any time on your phone is so easy, as well. Infrared is a great feature.

Great cameras which are easy to set up. Just make sure to try and stay close to a router to get the best quality since these are wireless.

What's not to like? Easy setup and you can operate it from anywhere on cell phones or any other device. Still wondering about battery usage though, as I've been playing with it quite a bit, but well over a month on 2- heavily used cameras. The footage recorded is pretty decent also. So far so good!

This system is so easy to set up and to move at different areas of our house. Good video quality. Does not affect my wifi speed. Battery life is so far ok (I onlyhave this system a little over 2 months and still has full battery life). However, the prgram could be made easier or more intuitive.

I have to say I've been very impressed with these cameras. Service is great and free for online backups of video. Battery powered is great but you will have to replace the often. About two to three months. Try to aim them so they do not get false alarms and they will last a lot longer.

Quality video considering investment. Motion sensor very sensitive outdoors during windy conditions. Night vision could use more range.

I got this for our RV to watch our items that are outside, such as Yeti coolers!! These work GREAT!! the picture is clear day and night and I love how easy it was to setup and place.

These arlo 4 pack cameras were easy to setup. I liked the fact that I did not have to run any wires. Video quality is amazing, sensitivity can be adjusted. The only disadvantage so far I anticipate is changing the batteries every so often especially with the cameras that require a ladder to get to. But overall nice camera system.

The camera system get the job done. Recorded clear video and send notifications when there are motions. It can night vision things well at low light conditions. Has free cloud storage. Relatively affordable. Good mounting accessories.

Easy install and good camera's , I will like to see more controls for motion detection it would help so you don't get as many alerts
