Best camera survellience I've ever had and love it so much ..better then the old one I had

Cams seam to work well except one is having an ir problem, app needs to be reset a lot. Detection and notifications areally good. Batteries are still at full charge after a little over a month

I have 1 camera already and I loved it, so I needed more security views so I got more. Arlo is amazing.

There has been an increase in reports of shady people checking out homes during the early morning in my neighborhood. I needed a solution fast before my home became another target of organized burglarizing. The Arlo 3 camera kit comes with enough batteries to power all three cameras. Its easily accessible battery housing area made the installation an easy process. I followed the instructions of the Arlo App (pretty decent App in itself. Although, it does seem like the app was developed only by engineers rather than a focus group). Anyway, I got all cameras sync'd in a less than a minute to my base station. This is such an easy process as long as you follow instructions. Any complaints about difficult setup could probably be attributed to not reading. I installed my cameras in vantage points around my home; the most vulnerable locations are now monitored. The suggested mounting height for surveillance is a bit concerning. Someone can easily come by and swipe the camera. Maybe NETGEAR has plans of creating a very secure mounting device. The cameras did have some lag time between detecting motion and recording the video. Aside from this issue, the video comes in clear 720p and is easily viewable via the app. I have to say, the free 7 day cloud storage is GREAT value. I'm not sure of many other devices that offer this type of service, but this certainly wins me over. I think paying a monthly/year fee for storage is a thing of the past considering how cheap storage is these days. Overall, I'd say there are improvements to be made to the motion detection, app, and physical security of the devices. As soon as NETGEAR tackles these issues, I think I'll be hearing of more people with the flashy little cameras looking over their homes.
