I received this kit from Netgear test and review program for free. I set up three cameras around the house for about two months. One of the camera sees a lot of traffic. Below is my review. Setup: The package arrives exactly as it looks in the picture. The camera is solid and well built. It sticks very well to the magnetic mount provided. Setting up the physical camera and the base station with the router took me roughly 10 minutes. The process is very simple and no special networking knowledge is needed. Features/Performance: The system consists of a base station and 3 cameras (depending which package you ordered). You can view live pictures on your phone or internet browser. This system is not made for live streaming because it will drain the battery really fast. I have to change battery on the high traffic camera once in two months but that's probably because of the frequent motion triggering, about fifteen a day. The image is crystal clear, certainly very close to high definition even at night. You can easily identify facial features from the recordings which is very important. The phone app is user intuitive and I was able to set up a motion detection schedule and view my stored video without referring to the manual. I must say the motion detection feature of this camera is one of the best I have ever used. Pro: Superb image quality even at low light environment. Truly wirefree camera system. Get some spare rechargeable batteries. Solid and waterproof camera. Simple and easy magnetic mount. User intuitive app. Con: Battery powered. No AC power option. No pan or tilt function.

One easy SetUp. Was done in 14 mins. Great for indoor use. Has a great Angelview. And the best part there are NO cables. Only problem I found is that anyone can just take the cameras. Best to put them in a high place so as to protect from anyone taking them. But, over all its a great item. The night vision works like a charm. Got one setup in my back yard and was able to detect up to about 20 yards. Over all a great System.

The video it’s self isn’t that good of quality and the sticky pads it came with didn’t do its job properly.

Batteries only lasted a week and then very expensive to replace. I returned it for that reason!

I returned it as I could not get the camera to sync, and I read online that the battery did not last long on the outdoor camera.

im not to happy because i keep buy battery everey month and battery cost over $15. for 2

Actually purchased 2 of the 4 camera systems. One for my home and one for my daughters home that had been broken into twice within a week. Received the system. Downloaded the Arlo App for android and followed the instructions. Connected base system to router, synced the four cameras, decided on two inside and two outside mainly on entry points and rooms that hold the valuable items for a thief to grab. Used my laptop to to align the camera/motion detection. Bumped detection to 100%. range is about 20+ feet. Got in my car and headed to my daughter three blocks away. Repeated the install at her house. 2 hours and 20 minutes later we are all done with both systems installed. Daughter was gone this weekend and captured images of a friend picking up some laundry and a neighbor boy looking for my grandson. Last night at 2:45 am I was awakened by a single knock on my front door. Grabbed my phone and looked at the arlo alert, went to the video loaded just 30 seconds before to see three young men standing on my front sidewalk pointing at the the camera they were looking into! Ooops busted! Called my 15 year old daughter into the room and asked her if she knew them. "What the heck is ****** ****** doing out at this time of night" was her reply. Obviously trying to get my daughters attention, not mine. A couple of calls and a photo text of his mug to the right people and they are back home where they belong. Going to add a couple cameras to my system soon for a outbuilding and in the garage. Does everything I need and gives me a peace of mind knowing my daughter can rest a little easier. No intrusions or attempts since the cameras went up a week ago! Great product, easy to install and kinda fun to see what is going on in the middle of the night! This photo I took with my camera of the computer screen as the video was paused. Video is set to the medium setting to preserve battery and file space. Still clear enough to recognize the boys to keep away from your daughter!

Easy to assemble, however, camera is frequently undetected/ offline!! Poor tech support!!

Didn’t last too long before it started to mess up and not work at all

Had to return these. Would not stay connected and the batteries drained way too fast. Support was useless.

These camera are designed poorly. These is at least 10-20 sec delay before it can detect the motion.

I should’ve gone with a better choice from Arlo. My friend has the 2 way system and it’s much better.

I would not recommend this product. It is a great idea but it's not Perfect. I'm not crazy about the net gear APP.

This thing EATS lithium (EXPENSIVE) batteries!!! Don't waste your money!

Didnt realize they made a model without rechargable batteries. Got the rechargeable model. No brainer.

Camera does not detect motion well. Horrible customer service from NetGear

The cameras show fine but the battery life is terrible!

The previews show u can talk thru cameras and I have not been able to do so. Stock up on batteries!

I would have Sound and clearer pictures if I had it to do over .

Misses much of the motion recordings. Doubt would recommend it b/c of the motion issues?
