quick to install and setup. Photo quality is good.

Installed camera 3 days ago and it works great. However, there is no customer support. They want to charge you $5 to answer questions. I've never encountered such a complete lack of customer support. I recommend the camera inspite of the lack of support. The camera does work well.

These arlo Cameras are very difficult to keep up with. Even at their least sensitive setting i am changing the batteries once a week minimum. When I am not changing the batteries I am constantly Re-syncing the camera as they go offline at least 3 times a week minimum. The camera that I have placed outside by my front door is more often than not offline and needs to be re-synced. In order to do this I must climb up a ladder as it is 9 feet up on the exterior wall. I would say this system is a waste of money unless you have nothing better to do with your time than monitor a security camera system that is supposed to be doing the monitoring for you.

I purchased these to keep an eye on my dogs when outside. They have worked great. The picture is super great and they were way easy to install and set up.

These cameras really aren’t a very good deal for the price. In the beginning they picked up everything that moved. Now, after only 5 months of use, they work when they want to... The camera will see my kids leaving for school but then my wife’s car pulling out of the garage does not trigger it. Also, the picture quality is far from hi def. you can make out shapes and colors but there’s no chance of being able to identify someone or a license plate number from an Arlo recording. Lastly, the batteries last a long time but when they finally do die they’re VERY expensive to replace.

The quality of the videos are ok but I'm not thrilled with the slowness of the start of motion recording. The biggest downfall is that I've only had this system for a little over a month and one of the cameras has almost gone through two sets of batteries and that camera hasn't even been on as much as the other one that has more battery life left. So much for the 3 month battery life. So it's gonna cost me about $30 a month in batteries to run the 2 cameras. I'm very sorry that I purchased this and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I had initial problems with setup but after that it was breeze - the quality is very good and the fact that I can pick it up and just move it is amazing. I was looking for an alternative camera that integrated with Smart Things and this has satisfied that need. I recommend.

Not having to wire these camera and not having to run electrical to them makes this incredibly easy to set up. The performance is fantastic. I can not be more pleased.

These security cameras are good. I have the Arlo pro and I bought these for my mother and I think this is a great value although it does not have the sound and speaking feature it is still a great buy. I would recommend it as a more affordable security system.

Very easy to install and configure. I would have given 5 stars if the battery charge would have stayed longer. Battery power seems to be draining so quickly even though the sensitivity is reduced to the bare minimum. Had to change batteries every month!!

Bought the system. Needed to add a couple more cameras. Very simple to use. Could monitor the cameras thru an app on my iPhone, iPad & AppleTV. The resolution to crystal clear. IF I was have to say something negative, it's just that the batteries don't last 6 months like they're supposed to. Batteries aren't cheap. They do have new cameras that don't require batteries & are rechargeable, I'd go with those now if I didn't purchase these already. Either way, I highly recommend Arlo!

Bought this camera package for the price and reviews. Extremely simple to set up and cloud storage is an added bonus.

Even when cameras are not activated very often the batteries must be changed way too much. The batteries are expensive. My cameras fall off line all the time. Very unhappy with this product.

I bought 4 camera Arlo system from nearby Best buy store. Out of 4 cameras, one is not working and they are saying that issue is because they did server upgrade. Not sure why just one camera stopped working owing to server upgrade. They made me perform multiple different scenarios to rule out any potential reason for issue. Issue is open since last one month and every time I call I am told that because of updates they have done recently on server side, issue is happening and they don't have any SLA/timeline when this issue will be resolved. Its frustrating given the fact that you have paid in full for a production product not a beta product.

Everything triggers the camera - windblown tree branches, cars driving by that I can't even see, insects flying by, and so on. The battery only lasted for 6 days. If I reduce the sensitivity, it picks up nothing. The lag between recording is about 3 or 4 seconds, so by the time it starts recording, person enters our front gate is out of range. The cameras should come with rechargeable batteries. These batteries cost so much, it's probably cheaper to have wired camera installed by professionals in the long run. If Best Buy will take them back, I would return them.

The motion detection seems unreliable- It takes between 3-5 seconds before it starts recording- I played around with the settings and moving the cameras in different places and done a firmware updates. Just doesn't cut it. I do agreed the setup is a breeze that is why it is rating so high. Give it time and you will find out the truth of the product...

The setup was a breeze. I bought a dlink but had issues with software and setup, returned and got this. Way better and easy to set up. Only negative is there is no option for plug in power. We will see how long the battery will last. Overall, very happy and satisfied with purchase.

I've had this setup for a few months now and the cameras work great. The motion sensors work well and the notifications the system generates come fast to your phone/email. There are a lot of configuration options for setting up the system from sensitivity to amount of time to record etc. The app works great on my iphone and I can watch the cameras to see what is going on at my house from anywhere I have internet access.

Extremely easy to install; easy to use or turn off when not needed; works just as intended.

I bought these cameras after reading the reviews, I didn't pay much attention to the negative reviews due to their 4+ stars rating. Boy!!!, Did I make a mistake. Battery consumption is a major problem but I accepted in exchange of pure wireless capability. I only turn my cameras on at night or when I am not home to save battery power. BUT-MOTION DETECTION IS GARBAGE. The cameras don't detect right on their face movement, but detects the tire of a car that is passing by the street at 35 feet from my house, which by the way is annoying when I am out and I am notified of movement every time a car passes by-RIDICULOUS!!!. They stole my car from my driveway and the camera caught NOTHING. Don't buy for outdoor use, they are ok for indoor. By the way, I have experienced these problems from day 1, I tried adjusting them for 20 days without success, when I decided to return to BestBuy they told me it was past the 15 days-15 DAYS-be careful when you buy from this store, they won't take it back after 15 days so I am stock because I am pretty sure Netgear will make me jump through hoops troubleshooting the darn thing, which I have already done. If you want real reviews and life experience- go to the Netgear Arlo support forums-you will see what I mean about the detection issues-lots of customer complaints 500+tax down the drain!!!
