I have owned 5 Arlo cameras, among many issues they have, here is the biggest: Each and every one of these cameras at some point has suddenly started recording everything in a pink hue. So in 2 years time, one by one, each one, sooner or later, becomes defective. Than you have to jump through Netgear's hoops to try and get a replacement . Now I have sold them off for cheap just to go buy a real security camera system. Even their replacement cameras have turned a pink hue on me. This is a common problem I found out after looking at threads. So beware unless you want live and recorded video in pink.

Is " offline " most of the time,I barely use it since it goes through the batteries so quik,forget trying to live stream,you'll be replacing batteries once a week

Website said I can use up to 5 cameras with a free cloud membership. Not true. Returned the product because I will not be roped into paying them an extra $9.99 a month to used a fifth camera when it says up to 5 cameras free. Maybe there was a fix in the system but I will not wait on hold for the estimated 25 minute hold time to speak with support. Also paid an extra $159 for the fifth camera.

Was excited at first with ease of setup and use. One camera was not working well and let me down when I needed it. Returned it to find better product.

Don’t get this version if you have a lot of motion detection, you will soon find out that you will need to change your batteries once a week.

I purchased this product thinking it was simple set up, and it was self contained unit. There is a huge ugly white router you need to hook up to your existing router. No where on the packaging does it state that you must hook a huge ugly router up to use this product. Also, we have Verizon wireless internet at our home because we live in a rural area, so their router will no connect or work with it. Very deceptive packaging and marketing.

The battery died in a day and half.and kept disconnecting from base.

Bought these cameras because my work truck got broken into. I wanted a good camera system with good night vision. Took them home and installed them. The night vision barely lit up anything in my front and back yards. Couldn't see either one of my 2 vehicles which were not that far away. Very disappointed! Took them back and returned them

Cameras use expensive ion batteries very quick fast

This device becomes instantly useless when/if your internet connection drops. All video saves to the cloud ONLY, there is no feature to save your footage locally to your own server or nas. Poor product design.

Shortly after purchase Arlo downgraded the video quality, no longer HD. Useless product now. Can’t see anything. Also guarding features turn off automatically making it completely unable to guard my home. Waste of money.

Easy to hook up and that was about it. Half of the time sensors working detecting movement. Video Quality when set up was terrible, wifi reception and "live time", terrible. Returned next day

The video was freezing & getting disconnected. I have a DLink camera that does not have these issues. I returned these the next day.

Its a worthless camera it will always go down and you will have to reboot to connect. It is a shoty product.
