Love these cameras! Was easy to set up with the router. iPhone app was easy to install & use. We run it through a Nighthawk triband router now, but did run it through a Linksys router initially. We changed to the triband router but for reasons other than the new Nighthawk triband router. We use Exede Satelittle Internet & there is a slight delay when viewing the video clips on our iphones when home & away from home, which is due to the satellite internet provider. We do live at 8600 ft elevation & in the Rocky Mountains, so will have to see how it performs at lower temperatures outside this winter, as we just installed this summer.

I reviewed a lot of systems before going with Arlo. I decided on Arlo because they are wireless and can be mounted outside. They have free monitoring and save data for 7 days. I have had them for almost a month and am very pleased. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because I have seen cameras that are a little more clear in the picture.

Serves my purpose I am not guarding Fort Knox just wanted to be able to keep an eye on things

So far this is doing its purpose. It has a good wide angle view so it captures more area to monitor. Just a bit pricey.

I have this system for a couple of months now. I selected this because I won't need to lay down wires for each camera. This was the selling point of this home system. After a couple of months I was hoping that I selected a wired system instead. The following are PRO's for this system: 1. no wires to lay down. 2. You can access videos anywhere as long as you have internet connection. 3. HD quality video. The following are CON's for this system: 1. Need to replace batteries a lot. Battery doesn't last long for the cameras. I average less than 3 months. 2. Wireless range is not that good. 3. Because of battery life, I have to adjust the system by lowering camera sensitivity and lowering video quality and shortening record times.

Without the option of continuous record, I was unable to catch the patio vandalism, as it recorded right before it, then 5 minutes afterward, after it was already done. No video of it happening. Set to the motion detection, and it failed me. I want continuous recording, and Arlo, although pretty good, can't meet that need.

The system is easy to setup, video streaming is clear even in dark and the cameras are easy to place without installing the hardware.

This has been so amazing for our family. I have nothing bad to say. They have great quality and night vision is amazing.

The Arlo cameras are very easy to set up and install. The only downfall I would see is that the battery life is pretty short if there is a lot of activity within the cameras view. My dogs set the cameras off frequently, therefore the batteries were dead within 2 months.

Bought this for my parent's house after installing the same set for my own house. Really easy to set up in terms of getting the cameras up. No wiring required. A bit more tricky to set up in terms of connecting to the network, but it's pretty straightforward. I've looked at a lot of camera options and this one is probably the best out there. The only thing I would caution is that you understand the network speed you have at your house. I have a much faster network than my parents and it makes a difference. Especially with 4 cameras, you'll need to make sure you have the bandwith to handle that much streaming.

We have 4 Arlo cameras for our home, which we got last summer. We own a business and have had some thefts so we thought we would try it at the shop.. We haven't had any new thefts, but at least now it is recorded and we can check in anytime we are not there! Would Greatly Recommend!!

Did a lot of research before buying these and I am very happy so far. The set up was very easy and the product is quality. The clarity and night vision are excellent.

I have been very happy with this system. It was very easy to install and the camera clarity is great. I tried another brand before purchasing this one and it was not happy and returned them the next day. With this system, I am thinking of adding an extra camera to the system I purchased.

Great camera and easy to use and set up. Does save money for users by eliminating the high set up costs for POE camera's. This camera has one major flaw and that is the lack of audio. This does not capture any audio, wish I had known that before getting these.

The cameras do exactly what they promise. Easy set up, smart phone app and very good picture. Battery life very good so far with caneras online 24/7 on motion control.

Easy setup, but will have to get accustomed to the app. Limited support for texting camera activity to smartphone. Requires cross-referencing email or app to get link to the motion-detected activity. Would like to see link to activity imbedded in text message - maybe future update???

This is a pretty good surveillance system. The only concern that I've had so far is balancing out the camera sensitivity. The wireless feature allowed me to install it myself in about an hour. The night vision capability is ok at short distances but struggles with clarity at more than 20 feet. For what it is I would buy it again.
