Bought for my parents’ home; it was very easy for me to set it up for them, and they now have fast and reliable wireless access to watch their streaming services and surf the net throughout their house.

I have had amazing results from every Netgear Modem that I have ever owned and the AX1800 is consistent with that. It connects quickly, manages several wireless devices fine, and appears to have really good range.

I bought this router mostly for the purpose of streaming VR games wirelessly from my PC to my Oculus Quest 2. For that purpose it worked well actually. I was getting speeds of 1200 mbps on 5 GHz. However it was quite susceptible to interference from other devices in the home (girlfriend browsing facebook on her phone). Unfortunately, I had many issues with this device. I first noticed all of my Google Home devices would not stay connected to the network and I could not pair them again successfully without a factory reset. They would then disconnect again. I then noticed that the 2.4 Ghz band speeds were incredibly slow at 2 mbps. My old AC750 router was delivering 50 mbps over 2.4ghz so this was clearly not right. 5 ghz speeds were my maximum internet of about 115 mbps. In summary this thing was a total headache and was probably defective. You can roll the dice on it, but make sure you speed test both the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz once you get it set up and make sure you are getting the expected speeds. Then cross your fingers your google home devices will play nice.

Thank God this was super easy to set up. I had my doubts but it went seamlessly. I was in desperate need to get back on the internet and I was ready to go in under 20 minutes. Has been performing well,

I like this particular Router as it provides improved reception on all my devices. Very easy to set up and connects quickly to each area in the home where needed.

Great reception. No dropped service. We have several devices going at the same time and I am able to continue working without getting constantly kicked offline like I did with my old router. Thanks to my salesperson for recommending.

Easy setup and good quality. Like the app that allows the owner to control what bands products are on to avoid to many devices being on one band. This is my second Netgear wireless router purchase. Like their products thus far.

I upgraded my older router and I’m happy too say it was a much needed. I have more coverage in my apartment and I no longer have wifi issue anywhere

This has been working very well since I've purchased it. It already received one firmware update (these are important because they fix issues and security concerns). It has nice features, and I've been pleased with its performance.

I am using this router as a local network to run sound from a digital mixer to an iPad and a surface. It works great from very far distances.

Reliable. No issues across my 1800 sqft. house. The internet has failed me, the router has not.

Great next gen router for the price , note that this is a router and not modem combo thus if you are planning to use it directly with coaxial , you will have to use this as an Ethernet extension of your current modem.
