    Setup was easy, but whatever site I tried to visit, I got the same security warning: routerlogin.net doesn't support a secure connection After futzing around with it for about half an hour, I called Netgear customer service. After a few checks and questions, he asked about the router lights 1 and 5 solid 2 and 3 blinking 4 dark. At this point he promised a solution: Netgear routers no longer have built in security, you have to buy a subscription. Plans start at $180 and top off near $400. No further mention was made of the router's lights Well, I read the product description before purchase, and I checked the phone number before calling. If this is the way Netgear does business, I'll never buy another one of their products. 7 March 2025

    Bob this for my parents as an upgrade to their system. Saw significant improvement in wireless Internet.

    The password on the router was incorrect. Calling customer service was if no use because they could not see any information. The router name was not showing on the wifi instead the password was which was weird. Once I downloaded the app, the app had the correct password. I do like the parental controls that are included and the only reason why we kept it. Netgear charges extra for parental controls.
