Just Ok

Calling customer service was if no use because they could not see any information. The router name was not showing on the wifi instead the password was which was weird. Once I downloaded the app, the app had the correct password. I do like the parental controls that are included and the only reason why we kept it. Netgear charges extra for parental controls.

Worked for awhile, then not so much

Worked fine for a little over 2 years then began having daily issues where speed was SLOW to non existant on a daily basis. I could almost predict when it would happen daily within +/- 1 hr every 24 hrs. Initially thought it was my ISP but they sent a tech TWICE and it was not an issue on their end. It took me 2 months to trouble shoot the issue and finally discovered it was this router. It apparently needed a restart every 24 hrs. I thought I bought a 4 yr extended warranty but it turns out it was only applied to my Modem and not my router so It's now a paper weight.

Mixed review

We have had Wi-Fi issues with many smart home products off an on since we got this router. The advanced setting are not accessible in the app and they market their security software to you around every corner. After some time and a few firmware revisions it is more consistent but not a great first impression.
