Not very good

Worst router ever.... I was told it was easy to set up and it was not, it took me over an hour. I am always kicked out of the network and have to log back in. My internet has gotten slower with this product, have difficulty with pages loading, I would not recommend this product.

Unimpressed and Disappointed

After 4 months the 5Ghz channel has stopped working. When I tried NetGear technical support, they told me I had to purchase more support time because my support expired 90 days from purchase. They didn't want to hear that it's a hardward problem or honor any sort of manufacture's warranty for a replacement device.

Underpowered overrated router

It took a few phone calls to figure out that this router was not adequate for our 1000 sq ft house. We wound up replacing this item after a few months

Marginal with electronics

No good router or extender

Good range

having trouble...

I may need to return it. The start up app for my cell is not helping me. I have internet using an ether net cable, but no wireless thru this unit. I haven't had time off to work on this....

Don’t waste your time

Tried to take it back but because it was past the 15 day grace period they would exchange it. Call Netgear and all I got from them was a run around. I would never buy another netgear product.

The router is located in a guest bedroom of a single story, average size house. The signal strength is marginal in the master bedroom and occasionally shuts out all together.

Firmware update bricked router on first night

The router failed to install the firmware update and became useless so I returned it the next day. Went with a Deco Mesh Wifi 6E system instead and couldn’t be happier.

TERRIBLE

My printer constantly lost wifi connection, about every 45 minutes. Gaming was next to impossible. Someone thought it was the anti-virus software they want you to purchase that was causing the problem. Not sure why it did not work in my environment but I already replaced this with Google WiFi and it works great. I would not recommend this product at all and Best Buy should have a 30 day return policy. I now get to eat the cost of this useless router.
