Useless junk compared to stuff they used to have

Giant light bar with lights that are way too bright. Slow clunky interface that even completely shuts down all services when you change any setting to make it even slower. About half the range of my ASUS. I bought it trying to fix DHCP issues my fiber has. Turns out I just needed the third Continuous freq option ASUS had when this thing gives not even one DHCP freq option.

Not to good of a product

Poor product

This is the second one I bought that failed within a short period of time failed in less than a year. Bought in august failed in April, called netgear and they wanted $50 for three month service it should be warranted for at least a year never getting netgear again

A Spectrum tech spent an hour with me to regain my streaming on my TV. And my reception on our cell phones is as weak as the Radio Shack unit it replaced (which is the reason I bought it).

Just awful!

The box advertises 24/7 technical support. Good luck finding a number. Found the number on some random website. When I finally got through, the tech said she could not help me. She offered to transfer me to someone but could not provide the number she was transferring me to. Another queue. Another wait. It’s going back.

Constant drops and reconnection issues. Would recognize devices one day and the next day it didn’t. Nighthawk app (on iOS) has trouble showing connected devices for this router.

It was too late for me to return it to Best Buy, so I have spent about seven hours on the phone with Netgear trying to get it working correctly. They did finally determined that it needed to be exchanged

Only half works

If you plan on running anything off the ethernet plugs on the back DO NOT buy. This product earned one star because the WiFi worked. Do not waste your time calling customer service, you won't get those hours back on your life.

Easy Setup and Great Speed so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very impressed with how easy to setup this router as I was able to get everything up and running in about 5 minutes. While there is an app available to use, I chose instead use the web interface though the browser. After updating the firmware I was prompted to set the Wifi info and was up and running. While the setup was easy I am not as fond of the new Netgear web interface compared to the old one. There were a couple of settings that we a bit more difficult to locate in this one compared to the old. After using the router for a few days with 15 or so devices connected across my house, I have been very pleased with the performance. I haven't seen and hiccups with streaming video, television, to multiple devices at the same time. living in area with a lot of neighbors I have been impressed with the lack of interference which have been an issue in the past. A small nice touch that i really like is the ability to turn off the lights on the front. I received this router from NETGEAR for free as part of a review and test program. Overall I am very happy with the Router. The speeds and features are as good if not better than a router i paid over twice the list price of this unit just a couple of years ago and will only get better as more devices come out that support the new wifi standards.

I can't get down that low to work with it and I needed help. Right now it's still in the box. I wonder if the Geek Squad is working and if they are would they come to install it? Netgear router fail after one day

Renting erro from Blue Ridge Cable. Netgear should spend more time building a good router, like they did years ago. Now they want to sell you anti-virus for there there router!

Didn’t work

Always drops connection.
