Set up was a nightmare and took a long time. Then it quit working a few hours later.

very difficult to set up therefore had to retun it for a refund

Don't buy this router because you can get better option in Amazon

Look for another model I returned it after a few days

One of the worst experiences I had with a product.

With my wife working from home using hi-speed internet, and with more than 30 devices hooked up at any given time in my 2000 sq ft home, I added the NETGEAR AX 1800 to my network a couple of weeks ago. Super fast and reliable, AND with Armour and bitfinder security, I finally get to relax without having to reboot every half hour! THANKS NETGEAR!!!

his device is by far the easiest piece of hardware I have used to connect to the internet. Basically plug and play after you enter a few security details and connected the device. You are protected against harmful content from sources that may appear to be innocent but are in fact quite exploitative if not downright invasive. Particularly on what information or actions they take against your home network or devices. What is absolutely great is that all your connected devices share on the security offered by this device. You also have the ability to monitor and control remotely with a great deal of information that would help geeky types know exactly what is happening on their private network.

I had to upgrade my home network due to the additional load that is now required with everyone at home. In order to handle various streaming services, on line school for three children and two professionals with heavy data transfers working from home this router has allowed me to segregate wi fi networks to manage load, improve security and limit access for the children who like to abuse their new found freedom. With the addition of the new Netgear cable modem the home network is doing everything that is asked of it. Plus, the easy to use Nighthawk app allows me to easily manage the network. Thus far, this is everything I could have asked for with a very friendly price.

This has been the best router that I have ever purchased by far. I have always gone with NetGear and have had pretty good luck, but this device stands above the rest. Easy to setup using the app, connects quickly, and holds signal fantastic. The wifi 6 has been very impressive so far. 5 stars.

Looks quite substantial in reality and heavy. Installed and updated without a problem. Runs cool. Good memory, good chipset. Fast response and adequate range. Power adapter only for 110v. Of it lasts, will be a good purchase at the sale price.

I bought this router to replace an approximately 10 year old netgear router and my internet speed is so much faster now. Even with over 15 devices connected at once it still runs strong with absolutely no lag.

We use wireless streaming for all of our devices including watching tv. The speed is super fast, no problem watching shows on several devices at once. No problem with range.

Setup was quick. Features are decent for a router at this price point but higher end routers will be more feature rich. My Nighthawk XR500 is definitely beefier and maps more to my router needs but again, this is a great router for most mainstream use cases in smaller houses. I received this router from NETGEAR as part of a review and test program.

Fast easy setup. Works as expected with with the speeds I pay for. I couldn’t ask for this to do anything else for the price point.

I’ve bought several routers over the years but this was the first time I have bought a Netgear. I absolutely love it. The signal is so great, I can actually pick it up in my mothers yard which is over 500 feet from my house. My old routers ran very hot so hot that I would have to put something under them to let air flow underneath. This is the first router that runs cool and has little feet on the bottom. Netgear is definitely got my business from now on.

I bought this NetGear AX1800 4-Stream WIFI 6 Router (RAX20) to replace my ancient Linksys WRT 1900 AC. My son and I was surprised when we ran a speed test on RAX20. It posted a supper fast 480 Mbps download speed and 32 Mbps upload speed. It is 4x faster the speed of my old Linksys router. I am every happy that I chose a correct router for my home. My son is supper happy!

A Netgear AC router hooked to fiber feed by an 8 port unmanaged switch with an additional router and a 4 port switch at my computer were overloading the main router. Using WiFi with it could cause issues. Decided to try the RAX20 and life got better. So decided to order the EAX20 extender to mesh the whole house. Looking forward to ending switching routers. The RAX20 works great.

This router is excellent! We’re a family of five who each has a device, plus the Roku and game consoles. Absolutely no lag even when all 5 of us are streaming on our devices. It’s powerful enough to have full signal throughout our entire house, about 1500 sq ft. We’re incredibly pleased with this purchase!
