We had the Spectrum router & modem. Our internet kept going in and out daily. Had the Spectrum tech at our house twice to fix the issue. We have a very tech functional home. Most light switches, pool equipment, garage doors, security cameras, thermostat and irrigation system all hooked up to our internet. The Spectrum modem and router could not handle the amount of devises in our home so we purchased this router and the Surfboard modem on the advise of the sales consultant at Best Buy. Our issues were instantly solved! Everything works perfect and the the internet does not drop.

Just what we needed! We upgraded our internet speed and capacity and the existing router could not handle it. This installed seamlessly, works flawlessly, and really saved our preschool.

I am amazed how easy and fast this router is to set up. The Nighthawk app helps you out all the way. Also the performance of this router boosted my internet speeds a lot. More than 25%.

Between my home my office and my rental properties I own five of these units now. I am befuddled by the one star ratings because I personally have experienced zero issues. when I purchased them there weren't as many ratings. My newest one is 90 days old my oldest one is approximately 15 months old. These are all at separate locations being monitored remotely via the nighthawk app. I haven't had any issues I guess I'm a lucky one. Not one drop from any of the five. These all replaced obsolete Netgear AC1900 units as my tenants begin bringing in more wireless crap such as Apple watches and everybody's got a tablet and a laptop and a phone nowadays so the AC 1900s were not able to handle multiple devices, as this new AX1800 is handling all that including Wi-Fi air conditioners and Wi-Fi thermostats. Call me lucky.

I needed to replace an old router that only had 10/100 ethernet. This router was easy to install, plenty of signal strength for my small duplex, and future proof (for a while) WiFi 6.

I finally switched from renting a modem/router to buying my own. The router is great for my two bedroom condo, and helps provide great speed from the modem. Worth investing in

Paired with a NETGEAR WiFi6 extender. Great range and exceptional speed retention. Used NETGEAR for years and they have always been a great product.

Got this to boost wifi range and create a separate network for online school. Setting up the new network was dummy proof. Netgear has an app that you download and walks you through step by step. Couldn't be easier. I set my office up in the garage. The router is in the main part of the house connected to the modem. Running off the modem, my classes on zoom would freeze and occasionally drop forcing me to log back into the session. That has never happened once with this router and its only 2 feet closer to the window than the modem.

This router is excellent! Very high speed, easy installation, and distance. Network setup & firmware updates performed through app. Highly recommended.

Baught for a friend, old router didnt have enough power. Easy setup and can extend the range. Great unit.

This router gives the fastest speed I have 1gb fiber and it gives you that via WiFi , it also reaches our whole lot which is about 5,000 SQ feet

Works great. A lot better than the Spectrum one. Have a Ring Extender, but with this one I don’t need to use it.

This is great it is plug and use simplicity and is very strong signal while offering multiple ports for hardlines if you want that too

Good router and stronger signal strength at my devices than with our old router modem. It's pretty big and takes up a lot of space but it runs cool and like I said, a very strong signal all over the house so not really an issue. I couldn't get Netgear's 'Nighthawk' app to work on my computer. My wife said 'how about your phone?' and the app must be optimized for phones because it was easy peasy - we were downloaded and the router was up in no time.

The router was easy to set up. It seems to work very well. No problem connecting any device or any number of devices.
