Purchased two of these along with my new Netgear router. Being a novice I would have liked more clear instructions. Finally got it working ONLY after realizing you MUST plug the router directly into the wall outlet! I'd read that it transmitted thru the home wiring & cannot connect thru a surge protector, but did not realize my battery backup also prevented it from working. Once properly set up it works GREAT!

I want to start off by saying that I've installed several routers in my life and this was by far the easiest install ever. It literally took me less than 15 minutes to setup this router & the DST (dead spot terminator). I love the genie app that is available to manage the network. I wish I would have bought this router sooner.

It provides a better signal extension than the old apple extender which was spotty and fickle.

A great expirence using this dst adaptor for the high powered router that it pairs with. The setup and programming is simple and straightforward enough for the average homeowner to do and thrive.

I have a floodcam security light on my storage building in the back yard. I needed a Wi-Fi connection for it and this works great. I get a strong signal. BIG help.

Good product. Used with the base router and several additional boosters (total of 3) to cover one story of a house that's about 3000 square feet. The bandwidth strength of the boosters is about half of the main router but still strong enough for video streaming on all of the boosters simultaneously.

You need to be sure you are buying the right model for your situation and there are occasional brief disconnects, but it is an effective tool for extending Wi-Fi coverage in your home. I had no coverage in my den and now can run my wireless surround sound in that room due to this device.

I bought this thinking hit would work with my current router but you have to have a certain version of router for it to work and even then all it does is give it better range you will get the same speeds if you are in a small house

I installed the Wi-Fi extender in a dead spot in my house. It works well. Installation took longer than expected because it wasn't clear that I would be configuring the internal browser on the device instead of the router.
