the router works as expected. It does get pretty hot though. I'm not sure how that will affect its useful life.

This modem/router helped me save $15 on my cable bill and it performs better than the providers device. Easy plug and play. Netgear customer support is great in case you need help. I’ve purchased many devices from Netgear and have never disappointed me.

A store clerk recommended this router for most speed and stability to price ratio. Most bang for your buck if you will. It was a great recommendation. Very fast and stable in a 3 level house for streaming and basic downloading. We aren’t gamers, so not sure if this fits that need, but I love it for uploading logic project files and other needs.

I would say it’s a good router/modem for being on a budget. It comes with an app that you can download and manage your connections as well as switching between 2.4/5.0GhZ networks in case you have a lot of interference, however remember that 5.0Ghz will have a shorter distance vs. 2.4 longer distance, but not as strong as 5.0Ghz. Also having an easy password for WiFi is a nice addition (I personally hate typing up these long number and letter combinations) I haven’t experienced any problems, however when I called Spectrum to hook it up, they couldn’t find that model on their list, so the process took a bit longer.

Easy set up and reaches all my wi fi products throughout the house

So far so good. It was easy to set up. The only thing we have noticed is that the range is not as good throughout our place. We will have to move it to another location In our apartment and hopefully that will solve that problem .

Router/modem works well with our Comcast internet package and multiple devices. Have used it for 2 months with no problems. Saved money by buying our own modem/router rather than paying to rent one from Comcast. Would recommend if looking to avoid rental fees and save some money.

Finally got around to buying my own after my internet company started charging me a rent fee to use theirs. This one was on sale online (I had to tell them this because at the store it rang up the normal price). Very happy with my purchase so far. Setup was easy and quick (minus having to call my internet company and have them activate it).

Good combination device works great with the local cable company service due to the DOCSIS 3.0 compatibility. Covers the whole house with WiFi and has wired Ethernet connections if we need them in the future.

NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router is great. Th reception all around the house is excellent. It does work on all my gadgets and has dual band for maximum speed.

great buy if you have fast cable internet, allows connection of multiple devices and also allows for 2.4 and 5.0 frequencies. looks really cool as well. if your internet speeds aren't on the higher end of the spectrum i wouldn't bother buying something too expensive, if you game or stream, this will work quite well.

I bought this modem/router so I wouldn’t have to make extra payments from a company for using one of there products. It has been showing greats results in connection and I’m satisfied with how fast my WiFi is. I’m the only person connected to this modem/router so i can say it works great for just myself.

Got this at the height of distance teaching. Best investment ever, no need to pay or rent for a modem, it was the best of both worlds for me. Just called the internet company, then i plugged it in and good to go, simple as that.

Got this for my father in law to replace the old modem and router he had been using. It’s great that it’s a combo unit, so you don’t have to buy each. It’s working great for him, no issues so far. It supports his laptop, tv, Apple TV, and the multitude of grandkids tablets and devices without lagging needing to be reset.
