SOLID all-around / one-stop wifi router and modem. It used to be that you had to purchase a separate cable modem and wifi router to get quality, but that is no longer the case and this is proof! I was initially concerned because if one component breaks, you have to replace the entire thing. But truthfully, they usually wear out around the same time anyway, so even though that's true, you save money by purchasing this all-in-one unit upfront and I don't think I've ever in 25-30 years of tech experience replaced only one of the two components, so overall great value for the slight gamble. The speeds are also JUST as fast as any two-component system!

Very long range. I have no weak spot in my 2-story 4K sq ft home. Very easy to install.

This router is a great buy for the price and its easy to set up and simple to connect.

This product is great I have used net gear routers for years this product exceeds my expectations. I would recommend this to everyone no need to rent a modem from your cable provider this is so much better than any I have used in the past. Greatest way to go I am really enjoying my netgear AC1750 and recommend it to everyone

This combo router/modem definitely provides better Wi-Fi coverage in our 2-story home than our previous Netgear dual band "N" router. But, salesman said it should provide good speeds throughout our entire house and basement and probably cover our yard and our neighbors' homes, too. Nope, not that good. In fact, I had to move the unit from the outside corner of our second floor to a more central location on our first floor where we had a cable outlet to get good coverage throughout the first and second floors of our house. We have Comcast service advertised at 75mbps, but get upwards of 90 mbps with wired connection on my PC. Signal was not strong enough to stream movies on a smart TV in the basement using only Wi-Fi. Was able to plug in a powerline unit, which I already owned, near the basement TV and then it worked like a champ. (Powerline units use ethernet and your house wiring to transmit the Internet signal from your router to a distant PC, TV or other device. Sounds complicated, but it's relatively easy to set up and fairly inexpensive. My 2 units cost about $50 several years ago, but the cost has come down over time. There are also powerline units that broadcast Wi-Fi signals now. The salesman was not too keen on those, though.) I actually may have been able to accomplish this same set up with decent Wi-Fi coverage with my previous "N" router. However, after setting it all up and being quite pleased with the speed, I decided to keep the new one since it is the new "AC" technology and should serve us well for at least several years.

Best modem I've ever had. Strong signal and very fast.

I am getting good performance without any drop offs.the speeds seem to be very good as well.

I had Comcast's modem/router and even though I ha high speed going into it just 12' away it was slow. With the Netgear I now have high speed internet through out the house

I was paying $11 a month for the rental router from comcast and my service was super slow, as soon as I went out a purchased this router I turned in the comcast one and my speed went up 2 times the amount I had with comcast. Not only do I save $132.00 but, I get super fast internet speed and the router is mine forever!

I bought this router to replace a zoom docsis 2.0 modem/ router that failed on me. I have only had this for about three months but so far so good. I am using it with Suddenlink. I have it in a networking closet and can maintain decent speeds throughout the house. I'm on the 200 Mbps plan and get between 59-80 Mbps throughout the house. Overall so far I'm satisfied with my purchase.
