    This is exactly what I needed to switch internet services...Costing me up front, but saving me in the long run. Hate paying for equipment rental. Charge would have been 14.95 monthly so at the end of 10 months with ownership, it pays off.

    We purchased this router and modem as a replacement of our rental one from Comcast. First, this can save us the monthly rental fee in the long run. Second, as soon as we hooked it up and called Comcast to transfer the device, the network was connected right away, and the speed is much higher than before. We like it a lot!
