    This is exactly what I needed to switch internet services...Costing me up front, but saving me in the long run. Hate paying for equipment rental. Charge would have been 14.95 monthly so at the end of 10 months with ownership, it pays off.

    Purchased for use with Xfinity service. Works fantastic for 250M download speed and I save between $10-15 a month on my internet bill, it will pay for itself in less than a year. I am able to stream movies in one room while the gaming world rules in another, and all phones still work.

    The NETGEAR AC1750 WiFi DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router has not consistently provided good Wifi. We often have to unplug the unit to reset it as the reset button hasn't corrected the problem. Download and upload speed are also often slow. I don't know if it's our ISP or the device, but we weren't having these problems before we switched from the ARRIS modem/router we were previously using. Disappointing given what we paid for the device. I do like that Netgear has a website where you can troubleshoot problems, but that's not very handy when your internet is not working! I might recommend this to a friend but given the yes or no options, I'd have to say "No" as opposed to 'maybe?'.

    Easy to use and very good product. I had to issues since my purchase. It’s best to purchase and good quality product instead of renting. I advised my neighbor to purchase and she haven’t had any issues. I wished I would have made this purchase several years ago.

    I have been renting a router from Comcast for many years. The sales rep at Best Buy explained to me that I could save money by buying a router from them and returning my rental router to Comcast. I purchased this product and installed it myself. I have been very pleased with it.
