This router worked great for 6 months. I began having connectivity and speed issues at that time. I called my internet provider who came to my house and determined the issue was not a provider issue, but it was a problem with the router itself. They suggested I call Netgear, since the router has a 1 year warranty. In the mean time I rented the latest and greatest router from my internet provider. It works better than the Netgear ever worked. Upon calling Netgear I was told that my router definitely had a software issue which they could immediately fix remotely for $100. The Netgear warranty DOES NOT cover software issues which apparently developed sometime during the first 6 months of use. IT seems odd that my old router or the cable company router DID NOT have software issues like the Netgear router developed during the covered warranty period. Buyers beware. Netgear warranty does not cover softwear issues!

Cannot give a good review because I returned it because I did not need it I purchased it not knowing what I actually needed.

I use this modem instead Xfinity rental one. I can save money by buying this. I wish it had a wider range of connection.

When I brought this product home, I set it up with relative ease. Everything seemed to hook up nicely until I got to my husband's computer. No matter what I did, I could not get it to connect. I called customer service and they looked into my system and said that they would only help me if I paid them $105 for a one year service contract for them to configure their router to our system.

I had Comcast on the phone before powering the device. It took home about 10 minutes to ad serial number and MAC address he told me when to plug things in then everything worked great.

Love that it’s just one piece!!!! It’s sleek looking and doesn’t take up much space!!! And it’s high quality and works very well!!!!!

Bought this modem/ router combo so I would not have to rent one from Comcast. It works great and I was able to set up two different wifi names. One for my use and one for my guests

I cannot consider myself a high end tech guy, but i have had no issues with this router. Easy set up, able to have three separate WiFi channels, including a guest network.

I have had this over a month now as a replacement for my old netgear n300 modem. This along with Comcast gives us outstanding internet experience with top quality. Really happy with it

Installation was incredibly easy. I bought this product with the guidance of a Best Buy team member, and I allowed him to lead me to believe that the range on this modem/router would be incredibly wide and cover an entire home. Of course, this wasn't the realization and the range, even though the box states it as well, that it's superior range, fell below expectations. I guess people need to spend more to get more range of coverage.

Great value had go return it cause he was only gor internet no phone! Im going to buy another one since i don't even use the phone lol

First time using a combo router/modem. A sales associate said they don't last long. The single modem we had lasted close to five years. Their were signs that it needed replaced.

Purchased this item with the assurance from the sales associate it works with dsl, even though it clearly states cable on the box. I should have known better.....returned the item.

I wanted to get rid on that dreadful monthly fee comcast charges you so I bought this modem. It works great, no issues. It actually a lot better of a modem than comcast gives you.

I don't know if it's the new Netgear Router/Modem or my Cox WiFi connection, but I never had "drop offs" with my old Netgear device and I have been losing my WiFi connection frequently since installing the new one. I paid the higher price for this Dual-Band Router thinking I was assured of a good connection. I'm still working on trying to find out what the cause of the drop offs has been. I cannot recommend the product at this time.

Bought to get rid of Comcast “rental” fee for internet. Works great and now I won’t have to pay for modem/router anymore

This was super easy to setup and worked great with Xfinfity. Don’t buy if you need a phone line - this does not have that capability!

It was great while it worked. We had bad lightening storms which fried this thing even while plugged into a surge protector.
