Don't do it!

When I finally did get it working, it would only last for a couple of days, or less. I would have to start the process all over again. The last time it gave me problems, I called my internet service, sure that it had to be a problem on their end. I was able to work with somebody who, for an hour, talked me through a lot of different possibilities and options. He finally concluded that it was the modem and then told me that it wasn't the first time that he had encountered problems with this model. Unfortunately, I had waited too long to get to the heart of the problem and I am stuck with an expensive mistake.
