    This is my second Netgear product. The first one went bust within 24 hours of purchase. This one worked well for a couple of months. Then all of a sudden, the 2.4G no long works. I Googled it and found out that users of several different Netgear wireless products experienced the same problem. Some users reported that after factory reset the 2.4G came back on only to went out again in a few minutes. So I would not even want to waste time trying. My temporary solution is to run a Wifi range extender (not made by Netgear!) that broadcast both 5G and 2.4G. I will look for a new modem of a different brand. Since this one can no longer be returned, I will have to get Netgear replace it under warranty. Then I will probably sell it. Well, as they say, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I should not have bought my second Netgear product. But definitely no more Netgear product for me ever again.
