    Run away! I have had good Netgear stuff in the past but this product was very bad. I kept dropping the signal and on-demand programing kept buffering. I call tech support and they said take it back. I went back to separating the cable modem and wifi. This all-in-one didn't make the cut!

    I bought this and brought it home to set up with Comcast Xfinity high-speed internet. No luck. Comcast told me to talk to Netgear. Netgear customer service was extremely complicated to get a hold of someone. The representative told me I had a faulty unit. I returned it and got another one. Still didn't work. The wired connection would typically work, but the Wi-Fi would only work for a few minutes, then require a reset to bring it back up. Through multiple calls with Comcast and Netgear, I was eventually told that the firmware on the device is not compatible with Comcast. Netgear's customer service said that the firmware would have to be updated by Comcast. Comcast had no idea what they were talking about. Netgear's customer service was pretty awful, and considering the packaging on this product specifically says that it's compatible with Comcast, I can't imagine I'll be purchasing a Netgear product again any time soon. This was a huge waste of time.

    Does what it says it does, and does it well. Only disappointment is Netgear dropped it's support for Parental Controls which is why I've used Netgear in the past. Dropping from 5 start to 3 star.
