    Never attempted to use this item. We just moved to a new state and had planned to have our own modem rather than rent from our service provider. As it turns out, we had to go with an entirely different company than we originally scheduled installation with and could not use this device. I went to return the item - never opened - with the original receipt - and was informed at that time that the item could not be returned other than for in store credit. It had only been 15 days from the date of purchase! And I had my receipt! I stood there reading my reciept and it stated that "some items" are not accepted for returns, but nowhere did it say this applied to this modem. Best Buy should have mentioned this at the point of sale so I could have made the decision to return the item sooner. I can see a set time limit, many stores are 30 or 60 days, and even if it had been without my receipt I could understand, but 2 weeks on major tech devices...tech does not change that quickly.

    Not bad for price but wish it had the hdmi plug for older tv… at least would have to buy other wirings to connect to an old tv

    I returned this Router/Modem combination. It did not work well with my internet provider and kept dropping my internet. Make sure you check with your provider before buying.

    It worked but often kicked devices off and customer support stressed me out & it took several hours to get it connected.

    I thought this would be an upgrade from my current product- I was wrong! I had a Motorola- which I was happy with. I read reviews- I purchased this product. This was not an easy set up / install. Between calling my cable company, customer service, technical support, and my cable company to reconnect my “old product” I spent hours. Customer service and tech support are NOT IN THE USA. Finally the tech support person asked where I purchased my product- told him Best Buy. He then said “good” that I could return it and they would replace it. After all that, I did not want another go around with the product. I returned the product- would NOT PURCHASE EVER AGAIN! I purchased a newer model of my “old product” and have been happy since- their customer service is based in the USA! (though I did NOT need it.)

    Ever since I bought this modem/, my Internet has been cutting in and out. I have a technician from Xfinity coming tomorrow to check out the problem.

    Even though it's A Cox approved router it's hard to set up on the system cannot do it without the assistance of their tech support. Communication with an Android marshmallow device is spotty at best. I'd get at least 1 step better next time.

    I was told this would work with cable service to avoid their monthly rental fee on their router but it did not and still had to pay monthly anyhow. Waste of money.

    I’ve had this item for just over 30 days and it stopped working. Modem just stopped accepting internet signal. Not to mention the entire time “it worked” everything would take long to load and drop out all the time. Spend youR money elsewhere. Went with the EERO 3.1 system.. having no problems with connection at all now!

    I purchased this for use with DSL. It is not for DSL applications. The device was returned. I gave it one star because the field forced me to rate the product. I was unable to use the product because it is not made for use with DSL.

    its takes time get reboot ....not that much what i thought ...my sis have $87 modem and u can connect 5/6 devise at the same time no problem ..but my $200 modem(with same internet speed) 1/2 device start buffering... not satisfied

    The reason i said that is this modem always can not log in the homepage to see and manage your network on your wifi mode except you have the cable direct to the modem. The N speed is perfect. Retail price is kind of expensive.

    Item specified to work with my ISP, tried many way to get it to connect with no luck. Even have ISP tech come out. Ended up returning and going with Netgear router and ISP modeum instead!
