Many appreciate the improved range and signal strength, as well as the generally positive setup experience. While some find the device larger than expected, the overwhelmingly positive feedback points to a generally well-received product. A few users noted occasional connection issues, but these were infrequent.

Netgear used to be the Go-to for personal equipment and I did have good luck in the past. This model did not work with Spectrum internet out of the box. After installing the nighthawk app on my phone, I could then get access to internet. Then the performance was just poor. Speed would drop to a crawl and kick devices off network. It also had constant noise on the upload channel (blinking nonstop). I don’t know if it’s the ISP or device, but it was so bad I had to return and go with the Motorola MG7550 model instead. That worked like a charm.

It was NOT compatible with Spectrum. It kept dropping the internet while I was working, and is not on the Spectrum approved list. Returned it.

We never used this item. The guy at the store told us this is what we needed but it would not hook up with our internet service. So we returned it.

This was adequate for what I needed it for. This is not a product to buy if you are not tech savvy because Netgear charges a lot of money for advice on product setup if you have to call customer service.

The router and modem work fine indoors, but the wireless range is short. I live in a ranch, and can not get wireless service right outside my back door. Disappointing considering the amount I paid for this item.

Overall, I thought this product would have been better for the price paid. It's supposed to extend for large houses; however, I have dropped connections alot. I bought an extender to help, but wasn't useful.

This is the second one I bought. First one was great. Tried this at my other residence and it had a ton of wifi drops throughout the house. Had to return it and bought the Arris. Arris worked beautifully.

The router is good but when it was sold to us. It was suppose to be one of the best. We still have some of the same issues we were having. Just not as frequently. It gets the job done.

We returned it - it continually dropped the signal. We had Comcast come to the house three times and finally realized it was the modem/router issue. We replaced with a Motorola and so far no issues.

The 5g router works as it should. Sometimes only one band works and kicks me off the thing entirely. Could be router or modem related. Overall would recommend this router.

Was recommended by Best Buy employee to accommodate Xfinity's requirements. Unfortunately, it did not due to lack of phone line access to the modem. Should have been 3-in-1.

The product is great and easy to set up. My dad has the same equipment and it works wonderfully. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to get my internet to recognize the device.
