I bought the product saying it works with Charter. Turns out when I called Charter about this modem, they said it wasn't on their list of compatible modems with them. So I returned it.

Didnt realize the cable company controls the firmware upgrade process. Many bugs and cant get them fixed. Maybe will try again with just a cable modem but router combo is a no go for me.

For my first one, it works good, wish it was strong signal, sometimes doesn't reach certain areas of my apt, and the experience in purchasing this could've gone better.

Tried to use for cable but it didn’t work out well for me. I had to return item and decided to lease from cable provider.

Stopped working on the same day I set it up. Shut itself off and then on again randomly. Then lost ability to connect to the internet entirely. When it had connected, it was slower than my 4 year old C3700. I pay for 100Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. I was getting 130/12 with the C3700 and then 85/5 with the C6300. After several tedious hours on the phone with Netgear support ("Have you turned it off then on again?") she finally confirmed that the device was defective. But Netgear won't refund, they only offer a replacement of the exact same device. And Best Buy wouldn't accept the return because it had been 16 days since it was delivered.

Not sure if the router or the cable provider (time warner) tech was not technical. They were having a hard time getting this modem to work on their system. Took about an hour to get this modem MAC address to work. Once is working, I was having problem with browsing through the menu on my computer. I tried all browsers, Internet explorer, chrome, and Firefox and none of them work. Only partial menu pages work. I was not able to view the attached devices, firewall options, etc...

it works best if modum and computers are not at opposite ends of a 2000 square foot house, for which it is advertised. Works pretty well if in close promity to tv.

I feel this product was not that great we had to call the company several times It kept dropping internet service

It has been adequate, not sure if it's because my son's friend moved his gaming system in but out streamlining is not much better then it was prior to this putchase

Uninformed staff sold me this item. I told him what I needed it for and it didn’t meet the standards. And had to return

Our internet always seems to be slow so we got this to help speed things up. It made things a little better but I am not overly impressed.

This did not work at all. We had professionals setting it up at the same time they set up our new cable hook ups. They could not get it to work. i had to return it.

I don't get good connection in my bedroom. My place is about 950sq ft. It may work better if I had an open space or smaller place.

I purchased this as a replacement to my ~3 year old router. I was going to go with a separate modem and wireless router, but decided to go with a combo unit to save money. But the wifi on this drops out regularly. I have to consistently reconnect to the wifi across my wireless devices. Google searches reveal people having this issue for 2-3 years, with no way to fix it that I've found. It came with up to date firmware and still has the issue. Unfortunately I'm outside the 15 day return period for Best Buy so I'm stuck with this faulty product.

I expected it work faster is better but it work kind of slow but sometimes it works okay.

I was assured in the store that this would cover my entire 2000 sq ft. Can’t use my iPad in the front room without an extender or hot spot.

Was told this would work with frontier DSL but after purchasing it was not compatible since it's only a cable modem. Seemed like a good product

Changed providers. When they came to set up phone, internet, cable this item did not work at all.

Seems to be intermittent with signal. Range is pretty bad. Signal cuts out just in the next room.

Not super impressed with this product. Wish it would work a lot faster. Hoping to Return it. Feel that it's not working as good as a shed
