    I have to say that the modem/router does the job, but it is not at the strength that I was lead to believe. Still slow reception, at still cuts out.

    Stopped working after two days

    Purchased this product a week before my internet service was set to be installed. Two days after installation, the WiFi component on the modem/router stopped working so I couldn’t get WiFi on any of my devices. After calling Netgear, they suggested that I return it to Best Buy to exchange it — a reasonable suggestion. I get to Best Buy only to be told I can’t make an exchange because it was two days outside of the 15 day return policy. I then again call Netgear to get a replacement unit through them since it’s still within the warranty period. After being on the phone for a total of at least 4 hours (between 3+ phone calls), I was emailed a link to submit an RMA request for a replacement unit. The link was broken and Netgear notes that it was an IT problem on their side so they also wouldn’t be able to manually submit the request themselves and that they would call me back soon with a fix. I’ve been told twice that I would get a call back the same day for next steps. I still haven’t received a call back and progress still has yet to be made or getting a replacement.

    Not supporting with COX internet

    I am writing this review after 7 months of use, don't buy this product if want to use it with COX service otherwise just need to fight with COX and Netgear for the service intermittent connection issues. COX was saying due to the old device version, It is not supporting properly, hence you will see some intermittent connection issues and you need to buy another device or rent from the COX device. Just wastage of time and money to but this product, after 2 replacement and $40 shipping, Also, if you want to talk to customer executive, almost they have 30-60 minutes worthless waiting time. I bought another device, new device working properly.

    We bought this and ended up returning it because it was not as fast as the one we were provided with from comcast.

    The router does not provide a stable signal. The connection keeps on dropping. Like after every thirty to forty minutes the internet disconnects for few seconds and if you are in middle of some thing you might lose it. I am stuck with this. Maybe its just one bad piece of the batch. Do a lot of research before buying your router because no matter how much speed your plan have, a bad router will mess your service. Have checked with the service provider and they say the service is working correctly.

    There was no help from reps at the Best Buy when I purchased this. At least now I don't have to pay $10 for modem renting.
